  • i'm not a mormon but i love this story of Jesus speaking with the Samaritan woman. :)

  • I love that story. After that the people of Samaria came and spoke with him and he blew all their minds. How I wish I could have heard what he said that wasn't written.

  • Jesus is not God. How can you attribute human nature to divinity? It is impossible. Divinity means all powerful and human means not all powerful. These cannot mix

  • It is misleading to call this a "mormon message". This is straight out John Chapter 4 of the new testament. Please educate me as to what extra revelation is essential in the book of mormon that has not already been revealed in New Testament that makes me not saved already? No additional information required. Galations 1:8 (of the new testament) warns "but even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned."

  • @blotto73 We believe the Bible to be the word of God. Refrencing mormon.org can clarify any other misunderstandings you may have about our beliefs. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, it doesn't and never will replace the Bible. We believe that faith in Jesus Christ that leads us follow his example is essential to be saved. I would invite you to try the Book of Mormon and ask God if it is truly more of his word and find out for yourself. James 1

  • @FederalistAnonymous Hi, to answer your question about where the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sits in relation to other Christian religions, Jesus Christ is the center of our faith. We believe he is the Son of God and the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind. There are some beliefs of ours that are often not clearly understood until fully explained so I would encourage you to find out more at mormon.org. Theres a really good FAQ section there. God bless

  • The Church has never changed, we always believed in the Holy Bible, that account is incomparable in its value. It is the living word of God, the Book of Mormon is also the word of God. We believe in Jesus Christ as our Master and Savior, and in all things we try to follow Him. If you want to know more, visit mormon.org or lds.org

  • I am not a Mormon but I love the Mormon messages. I am a Christian and have found the Mormon church to teach great things. I often have trouble with my faith and believing, but videos like this rekindle my relationship with Jesus and God. So if these videos are just to touch at least one person, it has served its purpose.

  • Why are these people so light skinned? If you lived where they did, in that hot climate, you'd been much darker.

  • Jesus the prophet and messenger!

  • @FederalistAnonymous Hi I'm Levi and I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, a Mormon (a nickname for members of the church). Thanks for the ? :) We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World and the Son of God. He lived a sinless life, atoned for the sins of the world, and was crucified and resurrected. We've always believed that the Holy Bible came from God and His words to Prophets like Moses and John. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ.

  • People, get a little education. The message and testimony of Christ in the The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints is as old as the church itself. Stop going to your twisted seminars about mormonism and get some information from unbiased sources. Most of the information about the LDS church information provided by the so-called christian churches is deceitful to say the least.

  • @FederalistAnonymous The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has always held the Bible with high regard as a book of scripture and an integral part of its canon. Joseph Smith taught from the Bible, as have all prophets since then.

It is for this reason that we reference the Book of Mormon as 'Another Testament of Christ' - the Bible is the the other testament of Christ which we cherish and from which we teach.

  • @FederalistAnonymous It depends on who you ask. The LDS church has and always will claim that they are indeed christian, (and many christians do agree), but most will point out that there are enough differences to call that into question. For instance, Mormons believe God continues to speak, but Christians believe he stopped giving revelation after the death of the apostles. I think these videos were made mainly as a teaching resource, but it also shows that Mormons do believe in the Bible.

  • @FederalistAnonymous We believe that God has not stopped talking (or giving revelation) to his children on earth today. The church is set up the same way as it was in former times when Christ was on the earth with apostles and prophets. Find out more at Mormon.org

  • @FederalistAnonymous The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's church restored to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. Other Christian religions have truth and true principles are preached. How every they are all split offs of the other churches back to the Catholic church. The Mormon church has not changed in doctrine. Christ is the Savior, redeemer, and great exemplar. It is only through him that we can return to our Heavenly Father.

  • @FederalistAnonymous Mormons ARE Christians! Christian meaning we believe in Christ. We read the King James Version of the Bible. We believe in the Bible and know it's the word of God. The Book of Mormon is also the word of God. It is an account of the people in the Americas. Christ visited them after he was crucified and resurrected. I hope that cleared up a little!

  • @FederalistAnonymous the bible is the first and foremost doctorine of the mormon church, mormon is a nickname from the book of mormon. I've been a "mormon" my whole life, but I have always been a christian. I love this video, I'm glad that the church is making videos like this.

  • @FederalistAnonymous I do not believe they are christian. They think that Jesus and Satan are "spirit brothers" and that we can become gods like God himself (and that's not the half of it...).

  • I'm a little bit bothered about the "one size-fits all" mentality some people have about the gospel, it doesn't work that way. Its not some balm you apply, and the rest is just cakewalk. That way might work for you, my fellow spoiled latter-day saints;). but not for people who need it more than y'all.

  • @FederalistAnonymous

mormons have used the bible since the formation of the church in 1830. We believe 100% in the teachings of the bible. Therefore, we are not changing to get back to the word, seeing as we've had the word since the church was founded. :)

  • Interesting hearing & seeing this acted out, knowing "Woman" is a special/sacred title back then and hearing the Savior use it. Interesting hearing said "ye worship, ye know not what", for many these days know not what they worship just as in old.

It is truely a great blessing to know about the gospel of Christ, a even greater blessing that we can bestow upon ourselves (w/ help from the Holy Spirit) is to understand that said gospel. Study it (written/visual scriptures) out! It's good for you!

  • When are you going to provide this translated into Spanish? I really hope you make an effort to make this available beyond just the English-speaking part of the church. This would be a very helpful tool in sparking interest amongst Spanish-speakers who aren't yet acquainted with the church.

  • @wa1den Visit the Mormon Channel Español channel and you'll find the Bible Videos playlist. It is updated as soon as the videos are available in Spanish.

  • Our church has always honored the Bible as the word of God. Our belief in the Book of Mormon does not change our belief in the Bible. We have not changed to getting back to the Word, but hopefully the perception by other faiths that we don't believe in the Bible has changed! I hope this answers your question.

  • @FederalistAnonymous The LDS or mormon church cannot exist without the Bible. Just like the New Testament cannot exist without the Old Testament. The Book of Mormon cannot exist without the Bible. This is just another testament of Jesus Christ, of his divinity and his atonement. Within its 535 pages, it testifies of Jesus as the son of God more than 6000 times, more than half of those directly and the rest indirectly.

  • @FederalistAnonymous God's doctrine has never changed, but more has been restored to us and we continue to receive revelation today from God for things that are relevant to us in our modern world. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (note the 'Jesus Christ' in the name), or the Mormons, have always taught, studied, and believed in the Bible in addition to the Book of Mormon. We consider ourselves Christians because all that we believe centers on Jesus Christ.

  • @FederalistAnonymous - I'll try my best. In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (nicknamed Mormon) we worship Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer. We believe the Bible is God's word and The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. We consider ourselves Christian. Some differences: we do not accept the Nicene Creed. The LDS church is organized how Christ taught, with priesthood, baptism, apostles, prophets, temples, etc. See mormon.org for more info

  • @FederalistAnonymous Great question. Actually, from its inception Mormonism (AKA The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) has been a Christian church, in fact, built with Christ at the center. The Book of Mormon is subtitled as "Another Testament of Jesus Christ". If you have any other questions, I totally recommend mormon.org. That site has tons of FAQs about Mormons.

  • I really love the new Bible videos!!

  • This is a great Mormon message I would like to bare my testimony That I know this church is true I experience it my self and The church helped me out a lot I know Jesus Christ and heavenly Father does exist and any of us can repent if we have a sincere heart and are willing to change God loves every one all the same we are just all different and Jesus Christ suffered for are sins I know all this is true in the name of Jesus Christ amen If you would like to learn more plz visit the Mormon website

  • Wow! It would be so amazing to speak to Christ.

  • Mormon videos show up frequently at the top of the stack as featured videos. Best guess is that a lot of money is being spent to do this. Why?

  • @1Bohdan1 I love the videos. They somehow lift my spirits and others, too. Its the best way to spend money...in things that moth and rust do not corrupt.

  • @1Bohdan1

because it is an important message. a message of Christ.

  • @1Bohdan1 Probably to spread the gospel to those who are seeking for it.

  • @1Bohdan1 The reason why is same reason these videos are made. We want everyone to have the opportunity to learn for themselves about Christ and come to know him on a personal level through prayer and learning of him through scripture (in spirit and in truth). For members of our faith our witness that we know Christ is our savior is the most important thing we can share with others, regardless of the price.

11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. (Matthew 9:11-12)

  • Cuando sale en español?

  • I really love our Church's representation. Right out of the text, as well as superb acting and superior filming. Perhaps the best produced.

  • John 4: 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever i did: is this not the Christ? This is the Christ and i will be forever grateful for his teachings, and for the love and kindness he gives freely to all mankind.

  • This is my favorite so far. Not all of them have been on the top of my list for church films, but this one is fantastic.
