  • Nice. Looks like that 6th string is about to fall off : )

  • what strings are on your martin, nice work

  • @tommyquinn181 Martin strings actually! 0.11.

Great strings, not too expensive. I used to buy Elixir but damn they are pricey.

    Thanks.

  • nice shirt ! gotta love (Pink) Anderson (Floyd) Council! And where did you get the tab for this song?

  • @SaucerfulOfPinkFloyd Hehe, thanks!

I don't think there exists any tab for the original version of this song. I just listened very carefully to the song a bunch of times.

  • man just do a whole cover that was so hypnotising that was beautiful

  • veary pritty song

  • That axe is SWEET! love the bass. Good tutorial I will be stealing this one !

  • Good

  • thanks for this great version! well done. I'll play with it.

  • Thank you! You have done a great job of performing and teaching this piece. According to Cephus Skip James tuned his guitar to D minor, but my impression is that, like the other blues greats of his time, he tuned by ear, and to whatever worked for the song he was playing at the time. Your tuning certainly sounds good to me! It definitely works.

  • @LegioVIVictrix Thanks a lot. There's one lick in the song I find easier to play in D major tuning, so that's what I ended up tuning it in.

  • nice sound ,,great version.what kind of guitar do you have?

  • @neibobber Thank you very much. My guitar is a Martin Tawny Satinwood. It's a cheaper Martin, made in Mexico. A fantastic guitar.

  • @Robinhlm ...great sound for James' style...

  • Man your guitar sounds good!! Very well played and showed too.

You say open D in the instruction part, did you mean D majeur as in DADf#ad right? Or D mineur with the f instead of f#?

Nice job and thank's for posting this.

  • @FraJa1980 Thank you so much! Glad you liked it.

I meant D major yes. I've heard people say it's in D minor, but to me it was easier to play in D major. I'm not sure which tuning Skip used.
