It's so refreshing to see how happy and proud he is of his house, I assume he built and furnished this house with his own hands and with the help of his family
Great video! btw, Yan Aung is also a name of a famous Burmese movie star. :) He's a brave one to bring a foreigner to his house and you are a brave one to travel to Burma. 5*
This is absolutely amazing to see. I am sure that this was also a wonderful experience for you as well. It is amazing how people live in different countries and do not even have half of what we have, but yet remain to be so humble, so happy. Thanks for the video:)
It's amazing how little they have yet continue to have such great spirits. The automotive factory that I work has many Burmese assosciates. We're all struggling to keep going during these times of cutbacks. After watching this video I understand why those Burmese at our factory seem to not be as upset about the cutbacks. They know it could be worse. You gave me a greater appreciation for my less than 800 square foot home.
They are a very graceful people. It is in their nature. It is very sad about the politics and the religious wars going on there. There is so much beauty in those parts. Thank you for sharing this video. Your art is evident in your videos.
I couldn't help but smile when he said 'new experience for you"...I thought "he doesn't know Margaret very well. I am quite sure she has followed more than one interesting man home before...maybe not with camera in tow" HaHa...Ok, well I thought it was funny. You ARE the adventurous one, my dear!

the shadows from the trees make it look so mysterious. I love all the textures in his environment.

How fascinating it must be to be invited inside such a vastly different culture as this. So much unknown, and so much to learn...

How confident and grounded this man seems...and how keen he is to show us his house.
He shows you a little thing and seems to say...here is where I make my dictation..Do you know what he does?

How beautiful... he has all he really needs and it seems that living so simply leaves him time and peace to meditate. I envy that so much.
