Playing the song backwards she says David twice, At the time I wrote the post I thought it was about David Geffen, Although When Carly was asked she said it wasn"t about David Geffen but told CNNRadio it was about a David...So I guess you're right, we still don't really know. ( Just what I read )

And pretty much admits it is Warren Beatty (mostly), Mick Jagger and even David Geffen (? which is strange because I thought he was gay only) But it might be David Bowie.
