@alar02 You miss the point. It was 1909, there was no such competition as the European or World Cup. It was a invitation tournament between 4 foreign teams. Bickering about it on Youtube 100 years later was not a consideration in 1909 so you must look at and accept the facts which are: It was an international tournament and West Aucland from England won it. It is a romantic tale written in footballing hisory and none of us can change it.

Uruguay is a small country with just 3 mill of citizens , England has more than 60 mill and they invented (thats at least what they allways say) the football . Uruguay won in 1924 , 1928 two gold medals in the olympics games and then in 1930 and 1950 two world cups . England just won a single word Cup when they play LOCAL in 1966 .
