hello dude, The strings on mine where very high when I first got it and the bridge was all the way down and couldn't be lowered any more,
The good thing is that the neck is a bolt on, so I took the neck off, put a shim on it (a small busines card cutted in half, folded in two and taped it with double tape in the neck pocket, on the side closer to the neck pickup) and bolted the neck back in.
This increased the angle of the neck and gave the bridge enough room to lower the action low enough.
i have a JT-V in a red finish but it has a set neck and the action is nice and low :D

In HC reviews there is a JT-VF which seems to be the same as the JT-FV, but I haven't heard of a JT-V untill now
