Sheepshead Fishing Offshore - Coastal Georgia

I caught a sheepshead the other night here in ontario canada, casted about 25-30 feet off shore and let a hook, worm & sinker hit bottom, and jigged for about 5 minutes... BAMM.. it was about 4-5 times as big as that 1, my biggest fish ever.. but here in canada they look like a mix between a carp and a large mouth bass, all silver and grey, now black zebra like stripes.... Caught a few more, but much smaller!

sounds like you actually caught a black drum...they also have stripes but not quite as defined as a sheepshead.

sheepsheads have teeth like molars...that is the best way to tell
