The point is, yes, there is no reason positive humanistic values could not have arisen from secular thinking, but historically they in fact arose out of Western religions.

I do think is is rather absurd that Christians are rebelling against the evolution of a game. It isn't even that they are rebelling against the subtitle but the word evolve. To them anything that can evolve can somehow put a hole in their ideas that God created us as we are and that we will never change.

What the author said sounded more like a promotion or his book than an actual story. Also, there are alot of people who have no idea what evolution actually mens. There are alot of people who think of evolution as a fish or a monkey immediately turn into a human, not the slow accumilation of changes that alter something completely
