Now the way i see it the Witch is somewhere between human and infected, the human side of her is crying, but when you come out of nowhere her human side is caught off guard, and therefore her infected side takes over and it has a lot of pent up energy, and thats why her claws do -100 damage so yeah...

Join one of their groups and then hop on a modded match. Sneak up on a witch after spawning and hit "E". You may now control the witch. Leave witch control right after she hits someone for a 1 second spawn!

It's weird. My buddy Keith was playing on a server where Infected could play as a Witch, and he went no where near the Witch, didn't even startle it, and it still attacked him! Claw marks over 95% of his body! (No really, though. My friend told me just today that he played as a Witch one time. It is unconfirmed if it was a modded server or not.)
