He should really make a new serie about carp/pike/.... fishing. His previous series are pretty outdated. Would like to see a new series with this guy that are "up to date" with new tactics, rigs etc...

You can have loads of success fishing like this on the Mississippi river. But carp are considered a dirty fish and to call some one a carp fisherman is an insult here in the states.

But with this set up you can catch enormous catfish all over 30lbs

but how Matt comes then back into the range he had in the line-clip, once he has casted out and unclipped the line?

@JensHRavenThorDracul That's what tying the marker braid around your line is for. Once you've caught or need to recast to the spot, cast out and reel in so the marker braid is just above the top rod ring, clip up, cast to the clip, unclip and your set.

nintendods97 keep the rigs u use simple. if u watch matt on carp fishing he will show u simple riggs to catch carp. carp fishing is a great thing but allso can be hard try out diffrent baits riggs and swims :)

when clipping the line to the reel, hwat do you do if you hook a big fish and it wants to run?

The clip's for casting only, once you've cast out and hit the spot you unclip the line so when the fish runs the clip won't stop it.

That's exactly what it's for, so the fish don't see you, especially when stalking.. Plus some people just like it. Nothing wrong with that.
