  • i cant get the camera view to come up in the render settings

  • thanks a

    lot

  • What application is it To make he logo

  • @ultimateDnATV I'm sorry for the extremely late response. The Intro logo was made with 3ds Max and Adobe After Effects. The Watermark logo was made with Adobe Photoshop and can also be made with Adobe Illustrator

  • this is complicated, someone explain the advantages of 3ds max for movies using after effects

  • Thanks a lot - just don't move your mouse around that much.

  • T H A N K YOU!!! You've saved me days of work!!! Exactly what I needed! Good luck to you, good man!

  • and sorry last thing :) you know when i make animation i put computers in the scene can i add a video to work with the animation you know i put it inside the screen of the computer so it work when animation start and ends when animation starts ?

the question : can i add videos in the animation in 3ds max ?!

  • can i make the video longer i mean it's only 2 sec on the whole frame can i make it bigger or maybe slower to take more time !?

  • @saytara21 Add more frames, the more frames = more time. Usually it is 30fps, so for every 30 frames you have, that is 1 second.

  • @EminentTechStudios can i make for every 10 frames that is 1 second ?!

P.s thanks for fast reply !

  • @saytara21 You can but you shouldn't because 10fps looks bad. Just right click on the timeline and go to settings. Then make it like 200 frames long, if it's 30fps then that will last for 6.2 seconds. If you want it to last for 1 minute then make it 2,000 frames long. Get it?

Yes you can change the background, render your image and then go to render settings and look for the option to add an image or change bg color

  • @EminentTechStudios i have got the part of the back ground but the time line i dont think i got it well you mean when i make it 200 frames in the setting it will lasts for 6.2 seconds and when it is 2000 it goes for 1 minute ?!

and could you please link me to the tutorials you guys made cause the site has low number of tutorials ! or this is what you made ?!

  • @EminentTechStudios and after this video and making the video i cant get it back to render a normal thing how to do it ?!

  • @EminentTechStudios and plz can i change the back ground it is white can i put a picture maybe ?!

  • Comment removed

  • great tut, thanks

  • Hey, thanks for the video! You helped me a lot!

  • THANK YOU! This did really help my so much! :)

  • thanx alot... u made my work easier

  • i <3, i couldnt get it to animate and after watching this i got it, boxed!

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks dude!!! You helped soooo much. The bad thing was though mine took 55 minutes as I had 900 pictures but thanks anyway!!!

  • hello thank you for this great tutoriel...

i would ask you about rendring architectural animation -((3ds max +vray))- to video file -finale rendering...

ho do it ...thankx again teatcher..wait answer....

  • thanks dude

i downloaded this sostware for editing, but was not knowing how to render it out

so you helped me it out

    i made this video

  • why am i here,? i use blender like most broke people

  • What file would I save it under if I would want the video file to be like a png file, its hard to explain but I don't want a background image so my animation can play in front of a video

  • @CoDisafishy There are a lot of little tricks to getting that to work that I am just un-aware of. Sorry

  • THANKS BUDDY!!!

  • TROUBLESHOOTING TIME!!!!! Good news: It all renders out

Bad news:Nothing animated....anybody so happen to know an extra step?????

  • @Echosphere88 If it's not animated then I think there might have been a problem when you clicked the keyframes. You might have put them on the wrong object which I have done before as well. Make sure the animation is set to the correct object.

  • more over i am using vray sun and its inbuilt light environment....!! please let me know all about... there is many hopings about your help from my sides.... please~

  • well.. all about vray i need to know! please let me know.. i got manyy hopings from your side ! i am using vray adv. 1.5 sp4 please do reply me.. my frames are getting dark frame by frame.... during animation scene for architecture

  • please please please help me out !! i am using high config comp but when m trying to animate my product its getting black at the end or mid....:( hope to get support from your side please.. i am architecture student so using home designs and all!

i am using vray sp4 ( 1.4) using vray cameray with vray sun.. still not getting my animation proper... please help me out..?

  • @faizdodcom I believe that is a lighting issue so make sure your scene is well lit, sorry for the late response

  • Awesome, great tutorial. thanks

  • i have a bullet animation but when ever i try to remder it all it shows is 100 frames of black?!?! please help

  • @MrAbedogg Hey, in Render Setup make sure it is rendering out of the correct view, if there is no cameras in the scene it will render the previous view you clicked on, if there is a camera it will render what the first camera is looking at. Test that out and render a single frame, if you don't see anything in that single frame then it wont show up in the other 99 frames.

  • thaaaaaaank you. I'm a noob at 3DS Max, still learning a lot of things, considering I just got it :) hehe thanks :D

  • can you help me ?? when i render my video i cant put it in youtube. it says change codec ? can i change codec in 3d max 2011 ?

  • @OxSADEKxO Yes the codec can be changed by re-rendering the file in 3ds max. But if you think that will take to long, open the video in a video production program and produce the video as an .avi or .mp4 with the default hd settings.

  • @EminentTechStudios thx man i will try :)

  • hey were is the tut???

  • @hammas74 I don't quite understand your question?

  • Do the gun tutorial!!!

  • @TRUPAC12 Haha Sorry I'm Still Really Busy! I want to do it though so eventually I will

  • @EminentTechStudios Ok, tnx, looking forward to that :D

  • THX u so much

  • This was sooo helpful, I'm workign on a Digital Design Project

using 3DS-Max 2010, I'm fairly decent at least a novice at the

actual modeling, but the animation makes me wana pull my hair out (T_T)

  • well thx alot, but i would appriciate some more help :/ u see when ive rendered i cant export the animation to sony vegas its just standing still in there but when i watch it in media player it moves

  • @ProWarior Oh I had a problem like that before, I'm not 100% on what I did to fix it, but I'm pretty sure it had to do with me importing the file into Sony Vegas wrong. Try a different method if you can!

    Good Luck

  • I rendered using 1280x720 (720p) and a single frame render is crisp quality, but how come the video comes out 720p, but the quality is crappy, it looks like a cellphone recorded video just expanded to 1280x720 pixels, why does it do this?

  • @HeroicHereticsHH3 Hmm, i'm actually not sure about this because I had this problem too, what I eventually ended up doing was rendering it into quicktime instead of windows because that one is just easier for me to understand. Maby it can help you too.

  • @EminentTechStudios Alright, thanks, I'll try it.

  • @DsReLaXc1 Oh well i'm glad you could find a way to fix it! :)

  • @DsReLaXc1 Im not exactly sure what your asking, see when you render an animation you are making a video of the animation, so you cant drag and look around like 3d, its just a video. Is that what you mean?

  • @ 5:47 i dont have microsoft video 1 ....

other random other option i only got 3 >_<

  • @geded12 Really any option would work

  • @EminentTechStudios Yeah i tried one. did convert to an avi anyway xP thanks for the easy tut!!!

  • How long does the rendering takes? It took someone 110 days to render.

  • @InnocentGamer If it took them 110 days to render then they have a terrible computer. I have a pretty decent laptop with 4gb of ram and intel core duo, and the render in the video above took about 30 min to and hour. I was also able to use the internet while it rendered, so if i didn't use the internet it would have gone faster. It all depends on how much ram you have.

  • @EminentTechStudios 110 to render? That was PANTURAL YEAA!!!

  • I JUST got 3Ds max 2010, I need to learn how to use it :P I want to make a Glock.

  • @eldiablo9604 Well that doesn't look like a question, more like a statement. But if you want, go to our channel and view one of our 9 other 3ds Max tutorials which gives all the information a beginner would need! :D

  • @EminentTechStudios haha, it was kind of half statement half question. lol I'm going to take a look at those videos right now!

  • thanks dude

  • i try to render it as a .avi file and it wont up load due to wrong format and the other files dont seem to be in the list when you click to save it in a file

  • @eGxOpTiiCzZ im nearly 100% sure .mp4 is on that list. maby it's named something different like QuickTime Player, or .HT40 or something. And I don't know why YouTube wont upload a .avi file, because I use .avi all the time, maby you typed it in wrong?

  • @EminentTechStudios i dont know i might just try 1 more time and then if it dont work im going to never use it and use cinema 4d

  • how do you make the finish animation transfer over to youtube because it wont let me it say it needs a mwv. file and i cant find anything like that on my computer

  • @eGxOpTiiCzZ Render the video as .wmv, .avi, .mp4, or other similar file types and YouTube will accept them.

  • So with this I can make simple animations for CS:S?

  • @grineti5 Yes, yes you can

  • Thanks, this helped me alot!

  • HAVE YOU MADE THE TUTORIAL MAN FOR THIS VIDEO

  • @InSanelyMods What?

  • @EminentTechStudios the gun tutorial

  • @InSanelyMods Oh no sorry, still working on some important projects of mine

  • omg thanks so much for this.

  • Thank you so much. I've been searching for hours to find out how to do that. I will upload my max animation (my first ever) when it finishes rendering could you have a look at it on my channel. It would be nice to get some feedback from an obvious expert

    thanks

  • @insideoutproduction1 Haha i'm deffinetly no Pro. I'm just a 16 year old who loves to teach what he learns about 3ds Max.

And yes, I would love to take a look at what you've made! Go ahead and send me a private message when it's uploaded and i'll check it out!

  • @EminentTechStudios

i'm only 13 and only heard of it 4 weeks ago

  • @insideoutproduction1

so to me your a pro

  • @insideoutproduction1 oh, well it's good that your starting young! When I was your age I was more into Graphic Design than 3d Design, but I found Graphic Design to be too easy and I wanted more of a Challenge so I moved on to this and I love all the possibilities this Career gives!

Hey i'm making a list of viewers who want me to message them when I make more 3ds Max tutorials, would you like to be part of that list. Last tutorial was 5 months ago.

  • @EminentTechStudios

sure. how long do renders usualy take? it says it will take 5 hours for 200 frames

  • @insideoutproduction1 Rendering all depends on how much stuff is going on in the scene. I'm not too sure how long my renders take because I don't do it too often.

  • thanks heaps, so helpful and very easy to understand!

  • How do I even get an image into 3ds and how do i have to save it?

  • @Hank62215 View any other 3ds Max Video Tutorial of mine, they all show you how except for this one unfortunately. I'm sorry that I can not link you to the video but if you go to my channel and click on the playlist entitled "ETT: Eminent Tech Tutorials" you should see around 13 videos starting with the words "3ds Max Tutorial"

  • thanks i LOL i kept forgetting to name file

  • thank you, thank you finally i can render the movie i have looked everywhere 4 this i have subed 2 u

  • @illsparku12 I'm glad this tutorial helped you!

  • @JoBoss3 Haha thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it haha :)

  • Thanks for this :)

  • For Anyone who wants me to make a tutorial on how I made the Halo 3 Sniper Rifle used in the video, "Vote Up" this comment, and you can also send me a "Private Message" with your email if you want me to email you when I post the tutorial.

The More "Thumbs Up" this gets, the more motivation I will get to make the tutorial.

  • how's u Make the Halo Sniper Model 3d??

  • @ROCKLee310 I made it in that program you see up there. I will make a tutorial going through the steps of how I made it later on when I get more free time. If you want me to email you when that video is out send me a Private Message with your email and i'll be sure to let you know.

  • is there a way to make a 3ds max animation last longer than 3 seconds?

  • @XxSiCkH3dxX Yes Sir! To the right of the timeline there should be a bunch of small buttons you can press, hover your mouse over each of them until you find the one talking about time line controls. Click on that and change the number of keyframes from 100 to a higher number. Or change the frame rate to a lower number (not recommended)

  • When i click render it doesnt work... i get a black box and not my animation

  • Make sure you have a camera set up that is looking at the model.

  • @EminentTechStudios Its not a model its a intro ? and it keeps going horribly wrong when i try to render it ?

  • k make a tut

  • @Spyder423 Will do soon

  • where do u get the gun??

  • @Spyder423 I made it, I can make a tutorial on how I made it if you like.

  • @EminentTechStudios

Did you really made it because it looks a whole lot like the sniper rifle model in Halo.

  • @Aggregate02 I followed a Reference image of the Halo 3 Sniper Rifle so yeah it should look the same. I made it all myself though.

  • great tut thanks i subbed

  • great tutorial

  • nice tutorial :D

  • thanx for the tutorial...can u post how to animation in vray?

  • @azraffi I can, once I learn it! I haven't done too much animation but i'm planning on learning a lot of new 3ds max subjects soon!

(if you have any other requests for a tutorial tell us so we can learn and teach!)
