I don't work for Bruckheimer nor Disney, so I do not have the authority to say it is real, but I did grab the video from a screener.

The first part of the video (up to the moment the video reverses) the sound is from the movie. After that moment the music is from the original song, secrets.

If you are doing a documentary on Tesla, consider letting them know about Tesla's Secret. The coil was not to make lightning bolts, but to harness free electricity. It would have worked.

It is perfectly possible to make tesla coils to play music like that. All you need is a MIDI-coverter. There is a really good video, just search "Twin Musical Tesla Coils playing Mario Bros" on Youtube
