  • Hermosa!!!

  • Fabulous! Oh, how I love this opera "La Traviata". Fantastic art and the sounds are wondering somwhere deep into the interior of human.

  • I love the music, as well as the artwork.

    Freddy Konstantinou

  • Preludium do Trawiaty Werdiego przypomina mi Warszawę, Teatr Wielki, super.

  • My absolute favourite. One of the most incredible pieces of music of all time, easily up there with the very best of Beethoven and Bach.

  • The music is beautiful and poignant but what is the connection between '' the Prelude to La Traviata '' and the video ?

  • @daddio7777777 the Prelude is the beginning piece of the opera " La Traviata "

  • @c1wang

Thanks. I know that but I still do not see the connection between the Prelude to this story of tragic love and these drawings which are beautiful but childish.

  • @c1wang He means how do a whole bunch of random pictures of faces have anything to do with La Traviata

  • @TheMusicMan1105

    The sentiments.

We don't always look at things on the face of it.

    Regards,

    Wendy

  • I love this music. It speaks on so many different levels. The video is fantastic - love, , friendship, being alone in the mist of a crowd, innocence, suffering,

happiness, feeling secure, struggle of life, despair, deep issues of the heart, peace,

    life.. .....

  • Thank you, for loading up this music.

We have this in school, in our music lesson, and I am so impressed by verdis use of harmonics.

  • Music and art work do not go together. This is havenly piece and maybe art work be more nicer is you put nature. Something that God create like Verdi's music.

  • Thank you for sharing your way of viewing it.

    Best regards,

    Wendy

  • amazing coordination between pics and melody....

  • @mmacassar - was about to say the same thing, fantastic job on the sync up!

  • The pictures are cute and I the melody is just right ^_^

  • Hi. Please can you share the details about this rendition of Traviata (orchestra, director), if you're aware of them?

    It's beautiful. : )

  • Gorgeous music, I would really like to hear a techno rendition of this. It seems to have a good rave anthem feel with the chords.

  • Mmm, if I find it in a trance opera album, shall let you know. -Regards, Wendy

  • Thank you!

  • son un grand morceau! très intéressant

  • Le te shkruajme dhe shqip.Pjese e mrekullueshme!

  • Wonderful music! Nice animals!

  • love the music, love the art!

  • I love La Traviata. If you dont cry at the end of the opera, it was not a good performance.

  • I am ashamed to say that I have been ignorant of opera my whole life. Only recently after a disgussion with my Grandmother about her fathers taste in music did I decide to start listening to opera. Without that conversation, who knows how long it would have taken me to discover this beautiful piece?

This is without a doubt the most outstanding piece of work. My favourite phrase is from 2.30 to 2.45.

  • Dear ThePiano1991,

I am glad that your interest has broadened.

We all like different things at different times. It's normal; nothing to be ashamed of. It's just that now your maturity is there and thanks to the timing conversation with your grandmother. :p Thank you for sharing and wish the joy in your life continues to grow.

    Very best regards,

    Wendy

  • Thank you Wendy for your kind words!

  • don't be ashamed, you've found The Music, its a happy day, and your Grandmother is a wonderful person, she'd helped you find the beauty of this world, fantastic... and there's a lot more to come

  • Verdi is an unbelievable genius, his music & melodies are the most beautiful ever composed .

Mozart compared wrote TV jingles, Verdi is just from another planet .

  • Bellisimo.

  • Beautifully haunting....makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!

  • Amazing

  • Actually beautiful. I only know of Verdi's more energetic, commercially used pieces such as dies irae and Il Trovatore's anvil chorus etc, which are equally as impressive.

I am keen to hear more. Does anybody recommend any in particular?

  • Verdi? Look up "Celeste Aida franco corelli" and watch the clip of the guy in the egyptian costume. I think stunning would be an understatement.

I'm seeing La traviata in sf this summer! Exciting.

  • I've been thinking that Dumas' plot can be interpreted hopeful as much as tragic. It is true that it highlights its unimaginably unrealistic moral but still, much more inspiring than those domineering in the me-first territories.

  • lo mejor de lo mejor para mi me reccuerda una novela que se llamo bodas de odio

  • this is lovely. i heard this song will be in the twilight soundtrack. I love it. thanks for posting this.

  • Actually, what will be in the Twilight soundtrack will be "Libiamo ne'lieti calici" from "La Traviata". This is the overture. Still, though, this is just as great. :D

  • For the music no words. But your pics are innapropiate!!

  • Ah, very true! The opera is a tragic one while those pictures represent hope. I guess when I made the clip, the music in mind was simply beautiful; I did not associate it with the story behind it.

  • I have requested this piece of music for my funeral (a long time in the future hope) - not a dry eye in the house!!!!!

  • That's so cool. I think I will do this song too, or Clair de Lune...But this is more sad.

  • BELLISIMO!!!!! BELLISIMO!!!!

    Muchas Gracias.

  • What a stunning piece of music.

  • THANK YOU, TRULY THANK YOU...

  • ¡de nada!

  • I was looking for this music and on the way here I found art by Mackenzie Thorpe, whose art I did not know until now. Thanks for sharing the art. I enjoyed it. I thing is uplifting and beautifull.

  • Please share with us more parts of La Traviata with this orchestra.

I am looking for orchestral version, without singing, and I don't find it in CD's.

  • Dear friend, I am willing to share with you if you let me know your email address.

    Sincerely,

    Wendy

  • where did you get this song? my band is playing this music?

  • this is the prelude to verdi's la traviata- it is widely available

  • Queen of melodies!

  • Wonderful job of making this clip, thanks so much for sharing!!! I truly enjoy it~
