Thanks. I know that but I still do not see the connection between the Prelude to this story of tragic love and these drawings which are beautiful but childish.
@c1wang No shit, Sherlock. What's the connection between the "beginning piece of the opera La Traviata" and this video? there are dogs everywhere? Or is it sheep?

me , who is listening basically only some trance and other electronic music , i axually really like that , its so nice and calm , realy nice pictures etc...
I love this music. It speaks on so many different levels. The video is fantastic - love, , friendship, being alone in the mist of a crowd, innocence, suffering,
happiness, feeling secure, struggle of life, despair, deep issues of the heart, peace,
i utterley agree with all the positive messages on this page , an enchanting piece of music that can so move the core of you and take you to paradise thankyou XXx
Music and art work do not go together. This is havenly piece and maybe art work be more nicer is you put nature. Something that God create like Verdi's music.
I am ashamed to say that I have been ignorant of opera my whole life. Only recently after a disgussion with my Grandmother about her fathers taste in music did I decide to start listening to opera. Without that conversation, who knows how long it would have taken me to discover this beautiful piece?
This is without a doubt the most outstanding piece of work. My favourite phrase is from 2.30 to 2.45.
We all like different things at different times. It's normal; nothing to be ashamed of. It's just that now your maturity is there and thanks to the timing conversation with your grandmother. :p Thank you for sharing and wish the joy in your life continues to grow.
don't be ashamed, you've found The Music, its a happy day, and your Grandmother is a wonderful person, she'd helped you find the beauty of this world, fantastic... and there's a lot more to come
Actually beautiful. I only know of Verdi's more energetic, commercially used pieces such as dies irae and Il Trovatore's anvil chorus etc, which are equally as impressive.
I am keen to hear more. Does anybody recommend any in particular?
I've been thinking that Dumas' plot can be interpreted hopeful as much as tragic. It is true that it highlights its unimaginably unrealistic moral but still, much more inspiring than those domineering in the me-first territories.
Actually, what will be in the Twilight soundtrack will be "Libiamo ne'lieti calici" from "La Traviata". This is the overture. Still, though, this is just as great. :D
Ah, very true! The opera is a tragic one while those pictures represent hope. I guess when I made the clip, the music in mind was simply beautiful; I did not associate it with the story behind it.
I was looking for this music and on the way here I found art by Mackenzie Thorpe, whose art I did not know until now. Thanks for sharing the art. I enjoyed it. I thing is uplifting and beautifull.
This piece always sends shivers down my spine... In a good way.

Verdi? Look up "Celeste Aida franco corelli" and watch the clip of the guy in the egyptian costume. I think stunning would be an understatement.
I'm seeing La traviata in sf this summer! Exciting.
