One of the best trios that ever sung gospel music, I listen to the BCS as a child and was inspired by them in seeking a career in gospel music, there will never ever be another group as prolific in their singing as this awesome group was..
Brenda, Carl and Shirley blend in singing this song was simply awesome beyond words, and they now have passed from this world awaiting their opportunity to "'Soon" to go to see the Lord as the song states, what a awesome trio they was.
They were not just singers but musicans, writers, trainers and loved to mentor God's Gospel talent! "Resee" Shirley's daughter is a "Dynamo" - Be Blessed and keep making "The Sound"!!!

Their stuff is hard to find! Brings back soooo many memories of my youth! My sister, cousin and I formed a group when we were little. We sang THESE songs! The R,S & S singers!LOL Please post more of this! And yes, they were WAAAAY ahead of their time!!!

This was a untimely demise in my eyes but in God's sight it was right on time. I guess I never understand but I'll be ready if he calls my home. I will forever miss you Ms Shirley.

Thanks for posting this Awesome Selection! I attended the Memorial Service at Windsor Village UMC for Ms. Shirley on 03272009, the trio that sang this song that evening, who were they? They were a Blessing to Witness and Hear especially their rendition of this song. Please post more BC&S.
Chelsea was the one to your left singing Soprano, which was Mrs. Shirley part. Mrs. Shirley's niece Ausha was singing Alto which was Brenda's part, and my son Lindsey Jr was singing Tenor Carl's part. I'll try to get more songs by BC&S.
