Great video and learn a few things I didn't know. I do have question. When I separate the hi and the lo through my pacer crossover the base or lo works but I'm only getting on speaker working fir my hi's. Do you know why that is or what can cause that problem?

Ok this is a noob question but why do I need a crossover when the Crown XTI 2000 which is what I also has Crossover Filters?: Highpass and lowpass per

channel. Butterworth 6/12/18/24 dB per octave. Linkwitz-Riley 24/48 dB per octave. or am I missing something?

Also do you use the Band Manager EQ DSP software that comes with the XTI 2000 amp?

Wouldn't that be sufficient enough without the need of the corssover and sonic maximizer?

ur subs will always be 8ohm, unless u have dual subs, so wat u need to do is bridge ur amp to one speaker and from that speaker conect ur other sub. this will make a 4ohm load, of which the amp will give u its most power available

yes u can...just select full range on ch 1 for ur tops, and a low filter on ch 2 for ur subs...it should work fine

@DJSPIRITO20 IIRC all 4 speakers are all 8 ohms, and if I'm right the Crown's will run 4 ohm stereo. he shouldn't have a problem with clipping if he sets his gains & EQ's right.

You should hook up your eq first then hook up the cross over that way you can eq the signal for all speakers highs mids and lows.

Thats how I do mine,,,good job, and yes out of sync sucks, the best is mono, in my experiance, Time aligment is the best,,,My KV2 audio is that way, all built in. You will actully hear the difference,,,,,Hit me up sometime ill chat with ya somtime about it!!! Great video

This is a great starter video for DJ's. I've found that a lot of professionals in the DJ Biz. Do not know the difference between 2, 4, 8 Ohm. And how to pic amps and speakers that work well together, etc. Some have actually used a set of 8 Ohm subs with 4 Ohm subs on the same amp and wonder why it doesn't sound good. Maybe you could make a video on that too. Great Vid! Maybe you could do one on skirts for light truss valance rods too? I need affordable ideas for that.

I've found that the Berhinger VMX 1000 pots or (faders if you will) went bad on my mixer. I bought one of these for my small system and 3 faders went bad. Great mixer, can't beat the price but, it didn't last long. Have you or anyone else had this happen?

True... I use a Pioneer DJM800 for my radio mixing gigs, and a Numark USB Mixer for my smaller gigs.  I got that Berhinger mixer as a summer beater, but didn't even make it through 1 full summer. lol
