It made me proud to be an american when Hogan owned that SS officer. We need more shows like this that show the stupidity of the Germans and how america selflessly defeated this horrible force. Yet after fighting WWII, we took in no territorial gains. If Germany would have won, they would have taken over the whole world. So Hollywood needs to stop lifting up the Nazis and putting down America. NOW

Hilda has 2 sides. Couldn't she sit in the middle with Klink on one side. (I know, I know it wouldn't be as funny.)

I love Werner Von Klemperer - he is such a good actor. He makes the show! He really made Klink fun to like and hate at the same time! :)

@pantherlilly003 I agree with you Klemperer was amazing. He played the role to the hilt. The way he walked hunched over with his riding crop and wearing that monical. HIlarious. Did he make the show? I don't know. John Banner ( shultz ) was outstanding, and Larry Hovis ( Carter ) pulled off some fantastic scenes. I couldn't pick a favortie. I do think Robert Clary's ( Lebeau ) roll could have been written better. He is the my least favorite of the Heroes.

@iParatrooper I wonder how many know Robert Clary was Jewish and spent 3 years in a Nazi concentration camp? I don't even know how he could be in Hogan's Heros after all that, It would have been hard.

@iParatrooper All the actors are great, even kinch makes the show funnier without doing any slapstick routines or really any knockout one liners. And Newkirk is a classic! And the german actors are good too.
