  • kiss me???

  • Very cute, I'm going to be making cookie favors for my friends this V-day :) I hope they turn out as cute :D

  • I have a question, well three actually. What kind of cookies are those? Sugar Cookies? What kind of 'stuff' did you use for the roses? Marzipan or? I really really like those <3 *.* and last but not least, Untill how many days are the cookies still edible? ( I'm in a long distance relation ship and I'd love to send him some cute cookies ^^ ) Sorry for the load of questions haha! Hope you'll find the time to answer them. Keep up the good work <3

  • Aww... so humble. Ur a trend setter... ;)

  • Outstanding job!

  • My dad drank a raw egg with a little Welch's Grape Juice every day of his life and he lived to be 89 years old.

  • your job is great!! but I have a question about the royal icing, I'm scare about salmonella (sorry but I finished at the hospital). Is there any risk with the royal icing recipe? Im starting to make cookies

with my little girl, and I´m a little nervous about it.

  • The risk of salmonella in raw eggs is about 1 to 20,000-30,000. The risk is very, very small. Google it and do some research to learn for yourself that you really don't have to be afraid. And remember... Michael Phelps eats six raw eggs per day. He's not worried.

  • Hi Miss Truly

I'm from New Zealand and have had a go at making some decorated cookies. They turned out really well except that the edges of the royal icing seemed to take up some of the "grease" from the cookies and it discoloured the edges of the icing. What would cause that? or is it normal? It was a really hot day when I made the cookie dough - could that be why?

    Many thanks!

  • This is normal on hot days - the butter comes out a bit.

  • Ill sprinkled white sugar on my Royal icing and some sugar dissolved into the icing. The icing was smooth and thick, using your recipe, what went wrong? The next day Ill decorate my cookies using black icing for the eyes then filled the inside with white icing. About 10 minutes later the black icing started to bleed. How long do I have to wait to fill a second icing to avoid this problem? Last but not least, how long will the cookies stay fresh wrapped up in cellophane? Thank you Jenny!

  • hi Miss Truly,

    have a question.

was wondering what size cookie cutter you use for the Valentine Day hearts you made on the video.? are they custom made? I have a preschooler and I am starting to make cookies for his class and you have inspired me by watching your videos. Your cookies are beautiful I used your cookie recipe for his class and all the kids loved it!

    thanks,

    a Mommy from NJ learning

  • Wow....gorgeous cookies!!!!!

    Good job, Jenny!

    Sincerely,

    Lisa from Rhode Island :)

    HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, my friend!

  • " I love the cookies they're so pretty. One thing though is how do you eat them when the royal icing dry's and turns so hard and do people actually liked them...just wondering...thank you misstruly"

  • Hopefully the recipient of the cookies will post her video as a response to this one, so come back and watch!

  • how pretty can you make a vid about cupcakes

  • I don't make cupcakes, but there are some amazing cupcake decorating videos on Youtube.

  • Did you pipe the flowers with royal icing? I'm assuming you did, but the last time I tried to pipe flowers with royal icing it was....disastrous! Buttercream is fine and dandy. (which is good considering im mostly a cake decorator) Anyways just wondering what type of icing you used! they look gorgeous!

  • Yes, everything was royal icing. It has to be pretty stiff to pipe things that need to hold their shape. My rosebuds need more work!

  • Ahh, Maybe one day again I'll try, my violets just ended up looking like textureless blobs, but buttercream sufficed! Thanks much!

I think your rose buds look fine! Hope your having a lovely evening.

  • very nice =D.

I love all your video's, please do more :D

  • I will do more, I promise!

  • Beautiful!

  • Wow! Yup, you stepped it up! Very colorful and interesting designs there, Jenny!

  • Thanks for your support, Darl! How is the ski season going?

  • We had two days of heavy pouring raining and it looks like the season's over. Well, I'll have more time for school work now.

  • We have four storms coming in back to back right now... it's raining again as we speak!

  • wooo hoo who's Mr. POTS

  • A lovely, lonely man. :) Okay, that's a Chitty reference.

  • I really enjoy seeing the cookies you make!

I'll get around to making mine eventually. It's been rough outside with the bitter cold and the wind picking up so suddenly, so I can't stop by the store just yet for ingredients.

I look forward to more of your lovly creations! :D

  • I hope you can get to the store soon! Lots of baking to be done!

  • How fun---but, zowie! Valentine's Day is Saturday! Where does the time go? I'm so glad you are on top of things... Have a great Valentine's Day!

  • Can you believe it's already here? BTW, I just figured out why the name "Boo," but I'm dense that way. To me it was always just a term of endearment as I've been known to call my youngest sister "Boo Bear" (she's 42!).

  • It was awesome seeing the variety of cookies you made :)

  • Thanks, Beth! Of course, I'm envious of how craftsy you are!

  • absolutely beautiful.

  • Thank you!
