This game has my all time favorite PC Engine music. Also this is one of my favorite games that i grew up with. Gotta love this games dark atmosphere :D
great tracks- I esp love the third- LAII is prob my favorite T-16 game of all time- also love military madness, r-type and devil's crush- good times then *#* cheers, thanks!
I really like the music for Legendary Axe II. It's got a good sense of drama and emotion, and it makes you feel as if you're trecking through a sad, dark dungeon world. The second-to-last track was featured on Joe Redifer's "Don't Neglect the TurboGrafx-16" video, but hearing more of it here, I realize that it's a pretty long and saddening track. Wonderful job, and I can't wait to hear the next batch of music videos.
Dungeon Explorer sounds similar to this? I didn't know that! I thought it was a more enhanced version of Legendary Axe II's music. According to a few sources, "chip sound" is officially called "PSG", but then again, processed sound can be called several things, even an internal synthesizer.
Im still wondering to this day who the hell that girl in the cloak that attacks you at the end of the game is?...

This is still one of the best TurboGrafx soundtracks. Just the right mix of atmosphere, drive and hooks. It's a shame more people don't know it.

Along with Dungeon Explorer which is very similar, this is one of my favourite styles of chip sound on the PC Engine.

@OceanBlueKirby That's because Atlus developed the 1st and 2nd Legendary Axe games, as well as the 1st Dungeon Explorer.
