This is not a 'total Uganda thing'. All the former British colonies have specific anti-gay laws in their penal codes, from the day British colonialism - no such laws exist is former French, Belgian, etc. colonies.
What you are not told, is that Uganda, Malawi, etc. have very liberal CONSTITUTIONS, which ban a broad range of discrimination. In other words, the anti-gay laws that are now introduced are no less un-constitutional than existing laws. But it makes for 'good politics'.
Annie Garrison cant miss to mention the word "Rwanda" in any of her reporting. This about gay rights-and if i rememebr so well Rwanda has not enacted such laws-this is a total ugandan thing Annie.Because of her "love for rwanda" she replaces the world Uganda for Rwanda.
