  • yes very good

  • @thiagotecnico Where can I get that sample?

  • @micro5033 UnorthodoxMethod posted the rapidshare link.

you have to remove spaces and replace DOT for a simple dot (.)

    rapidshare DOT c o m / files / 411411068/D50-13.WAV DOT html

  • Nice. I actually found a refil that someone had created with D50 samples. Might wanna look that one up, i don't remember where, but it was one of the first results in a google search I did for Roland d50 refill

  • The harp is my favorite part.

  • @jjcquinn i noticed recently that in the original song it isn't harp, but synthesizer

  • @thiagotecnico On Enya's version perhaps, I haven't payed that close attention to the "harp" in that one - but, there is in fact a real harp in Celtic Woman's version (both old and new).

  • @thiagotecnico Xuxa - Arco Íris (80's) - Reason 4.0 . . . one of my favorites. between poly syn, nn-xt, reverb, etc., it makes a really good RF-to-IF and back again test. take your digital song, amp it, digital-to-analog it (DAC). Deconstruct DAC back to analog-to-digital (ADC) and compare bits. works great, can even do IIP3 and noise figure. thanks. mutt.

  • Great to see the the insides of how enyas music is created, love it. though i'll stick to my own stuff, my head gets a little confused when i try to reproduce other peoples work. thanks for this.

    Nathan

  • @paradigma you should meditate on their music. listening 10 times, but paying attention on different instruments. try it by using headphones or earphones. this is not hard.

  • @thiagotecnico I do, and i love the energy in my body when i listen to it. might do an enya inspired track :) thanks

  • WOW!!! YOu nailed that song from head to toe!!!! Totally exact remake!!!!

  • good work

  • this shows how much work is required. good job.

  • Because it's hard to find, for those in need of the D50-13.WAV file

    rapidshare DOT c o m / files / 411411068/D50-13.WAV DOT html

  • @UnorthodoxMethod Thanks man, i've already lost my file! LOL, than my song

    couldn't play without it.

  • @thiagotecnico You're welcome =). I couldn't find the file to download myself, so had to go searching through my old back up folders. Figured I'd make it available to others who'd need it.

Also, thanks for the tutorial =).

  • I really love those pizzicato's, harp and piano in this song. It's just stunning.

  • perfeito

  • Can you convert this (the song) in a MIDI and make it available for download?

  • @pmeagle this IS midi. google it. midi = virtual scores for virtual instruments

  • @thiagotecnico Sorry, I explained badly. I know what midi is, thanks anyway.

What I was asking is if you could make the midi file available for download.

I found one googling, but your version is more affidable (more well done).

  • check this music made in reason

    watch?v=oWkYbLPCS5Y

  • great job dont listen to the negative comments on your. you did very well to a song thats hard to do

  • Where do you get the pizzagogo sound (D50-13.WAV)??

  • wow..........it this software downloadable?

  • @soulgirl62 which software is undownloadeable?? =]

  • PLEASE upload this finished project in it's final form. I want to hear it!

  • Brilliant.

  • You should ajust the sound on the program before the recording of the music

It took almost the whole time to record the ajusting of the music.

  • @ChrissyFinne it's about showing how to load samples in the program. than showing how the instruments are arranged, cause it was made manually. and finally the music goes on.

  • Yes,I found a video of Orinico Flow on Celtic Woman channel there you can listen to the orcestra version.I saw it was trumpets there, but I could bearly hear them.Try to watch the video!Music program is good. But sometimes it is easy to ajust of the one than the others

  • @thiagotecnico You could've made the ajustments in a video response. I don't want to sound harsh or anything, but me and many people will agree that if we click on a video about the song, we want to hear the song. If we clicked on a video called the making of we would've wanted to hear all the ajustments.

  • @gerbilplay4 sorry. there are lots and lots of mp3-videos on youtube. with a cool painting animation and voice too!

  • Comment removed

  • sounds very close, great job.

  • Your work is really something else. Chilling sound quality and clarity. Can you upload the finished product?

  • Enya's Orinoco Flow is fantastic! What is the keyboard that most approaches with Enya's one? It's a Roland, isn't it? But which one? How wonderful it would be if there was Enya's voice in keyboard (chorus). Great job! Please, see me playing Enya's Willows on the water and post your comments.

  • The patch was from the Roland D-50. The university I attend has the keyboard, and while playing around I discovered the patch! It's called pizzagogo!

  • was difficult to find out wich keyboard and wich patch enya producer used in this music. then i've found this. thanks.

  • This notes-ticks of my heart !!!

  • Perfeito!

Cara, onde eu acho esse sample Pizzagogo? Tem de gaça?

    Abraço!

  • achei no emule

  • Humm...

  • I bet that was tough, nice work!

  • you got my subscription... amazing work kid

  • I love this. Please Finish!!!

  • You really should finish the whole thing.

  • 2:45

    Love the harps!

  • great work, i like your videos!

    5* & subscription for u man!

  • This looks well hard all you guys must be really brainy to make up this song cover n your own...cool!!

  • Amazing...

  • Great work, i love how you did it. Please post more of your work

  • Epic!

  • Comment removed

  • AWESSSOM!!!!

  • I still think you should post the whole thing... ;)

  • wtf??????????

  • - @ squelchsoup -

this is how songs are built...layer by layer and sequenced. In this case they're using PropellerHead's Reason software with it's virtual synths.

It's a fun program to play around with.

  • very nice

  • pure class

  • Excellent! This is truly a great accomplishment. You have a nice pair of ears on you!

I would love a link for the reason-file with the necessary refills, if you'd be so generous. Have you been working on some of the other parts of the track since this video? Like the drums and hi-hats and so on...?

Thumbs up for the great job :D

  • wow excellent work!!

  • wow this is really great. i love this program already.

  • What is this Reason thing. I'm new to this stuff. Will someone explain.

  • music software related to Midi files.

  • Amazing work with the samples. That really souned very authentic!

  • sorry for my ignorance in advance but is this Reason 3.0 used as an interface , in other words do you have to have a synthesizer ?

I have a Korg M3 88 key , so can I use this program in conjuction with my KORG ?...

Nice version of Orinoco Flow by the way ..

  • you can control those rack synths with your keyboard. there's nothing to do with korg or kurzweil or it's brand. you will use ONLY your keys and some sliders and buttons to control the software. only midi signal. not audio. your keyboard can be muted. youll need a midi > usb interface called edirol. i'm using behringer usb keyboard controller UMX61. 'google' search these parts.

  • realy good:)

  • Beautiful

  • dis guy is wat u call perfect!!!

  • amazing"!!

  • can you download the pizagogo roland d-50 sample if so where from thankz

  • i've found it on emule. try 'd-50 samples'

  • oh my god... you are really great! really!

  • Good Job I Realy Like It

  • Sounds nice..but you only imported a Standard MIDI File in Reason... and the Sample loses a little the Charme of the Original Roland D50

  • yes, i've only downloaded the midi and imported it.

    this sample is d-50 original.

of course youtube audio compression make this wav unclear.

  • Yes i know the Original.. im a D50 User..

The Original sounds other because you only use one sample...

  • :( i want more samples

  • wow! what softwar is that??

  • Comment removed

  • very impressive

  • you are profesional!!!!!

  • I tried work with Reason but i dont understand this program :s its confuse

  • é porque voce não apertou TAB para ver o outro lado dos racks. ali tudo se explica.

  • good job , great(Y)

  • I's love an mp3 of your version of Orinoco Flow, can you possibly share it please?

  • please, PLEASE post the whole thing!!!!! :(

  • ROFL

  • ROFL Harris

  • Nice work fella..well done :D

  • Can you tell me wat all this stuff is about. do you programme this stuff and then store in into the keyboards or wat i'm new to all this stuff

  • all the sounds, I assume, are coming from Reason which is controlled by a midi Keyboard, but the sound does not come from the midi keyboard itself. It merely sends data to the program to trigger a note or sound.

  • Yeah or this way : Imagine you have at drumstick and a drum.

The drumstick is the trigger aka the keyboard and the drum is the program aka al the sound sounds.

You can´t make any sound without both combined together ;)

  • great stuff

  • this is pimp. great work.

  • Great !!

    5*

  • nº1 :)

  • I still think you should post the whole song... I enjoy hearing it. posted by treklife123 yeah indded i agree

  • That's awesome :)

  • Very close to the native D50 voice from my memory.

  • it IS native D50 voice. but it's sampled in WAV format. this sound was recorded directly from roland d-50 synth. the note is middle C :-)

  • It's factory preset that can be found in Roland D-50 synth [Pizzagogo]

  • I still think you should post the whole song... I enjoy hearing it.

  • I need 10 good comment points here :P (c'mon, to worth the work.)

  • What do you mean?

  • 10 thumbs up

  • how do u get this

  • VVVEERRRYY VEERRRYY NICEEEEEEE

  • Awesome!

  • That was excellent.

    Thanks for posting.

  • I shiver when I hear the sounds of this song ... even separately they are so beautiful

  • This is awesome, this video inspired me to get reason and learn how to play the song :D

  • I still think you should post the whole song.

    (without vocals)

  • Not bad I like it.

  • great.

Where did you download the samples?

  • YOu rock dude... you inspire me thanks

  • awesome!!!

  • This is Awesome dude

  • Cooooool!!!!!!!!!

  • very good bro

  • You should raise the volume of the harp slightly

  • the harp isn't the main sound of this arpeggio. i'm searching for the sound of "caribbean blue" sample keyboard. being hard to find.

  • I've often thought about getting some sort of program to simulate various effects from my favourite pieces of music, but after seeing this, my head hurts! It doesn't look like it's for novices. The end result IS impressive though.

  • this is for novices too, it comes with a lot of sounds included. easy to use, thete's nothing more than a pile of racks (that you choose what u need) and a 'piano roll' for making notes. of course when you become expert, there are a lot of editables buttons to enhance your sound with voice editing, SAMPLING (this video) and effects inserting.

  • sombody knows how to download this videos music into computer???? if know letme know . thanxalot

  • You really should post the whole song... I would love to hear it!!!

  • i don't have cool choir voices to insert. the music is so repetitive, that's why i've cut the video. :(

  • so... i like repetitive :)

  • Post it anyway. We wouldn't blame you if the choir does not sound cool.

  • Cool men, You have talent!

  • thanks

  • Beautiful. The interpretation with the piano was very inspiring. Too bad you didn't let the whole song play. :)

  • farrr ur good

  • i dont get what exactly you are doing. explain?

  • showing how to use nn-xt for sampling. first I show the wav sound. than how to put it in the music ans the importance

  • but i dont get it are you on the piano or editing the WAV file or what?

  • learn about wav sampling. it's wavesound sampling. do you know what sampling is?

  • i'll look it up on wiki

but just guessing i take it your able to take a wave file and take out certain instruments and sounds and such? heheh

  • watch 0:30. you'll see nn-xt with 1 wav sound loaded. pay attention that this sound is in middle C music note (look at the mini keyboard a lighter key). the software resample it to other notes, that becomes D - E - F - G just accelerating or deaccelerating its playtime.

  • good job

  • Impressive :) Very good job.

  • The stab sounds almost exactly like the record,at 1:00, Its the NN XT closest to the mixer. How do you achevie that sound?

  • nn-xt with d-50 sample > Rv-7 reverb > mixer nnxt automatically put the sounds in order of frequency. the sample just need to be C.

  • yes I understand thanks. ok for you if you have the d 50 samples.

  • Download them. Google is your friend.

  • I know man belive me i looked lol

  • Go to hornet dot scene dot org

and do a search for Soundwave

You'll get a whole list of samples, scroll down and you'll see a 16mb zip file of D-50 sounds.

  • Hey man thanks alot I found them this site's class cheers mate.

  • i'll say thank too GREAT!

  • THANKS A LOT MAN!!! BTW, the song is really awesome! nice work!

  • good job! 5 stars for you
