Why not use source recorder? Smaller files and as high of a framerate as you want.

Or was that not available in Source yet in 08?

no,you must edit your sound for it to work,it caus`s mics to not work,once ur done recording turn off the sound and the mic works fine

Unfortunately, the people behind Garry's Mod are charging now, though its a mere $10. If anything, I'm a noob with the mod and dont know too much of how to do cool stuff, I just turned off ai, gave myself a bunch of weapons, spawned things, turned on ai, and started killing. As for how I got the CS weapons, all I can say is that they were there when I first started it. Also, if you want to buy it, I think you HAVE to have HL2, and then other games like CS:S, TF2, etc for stuff from those games.
