His soul however doesn't get destroyed yet it is no longer enjoying life.
It is kept awaiting judgment and resurrection.
The dead are no longer aware of themselves, not able to register time and no longer remember God. The closest word to describe their condition is sleep yet they are not in sleep though it is like perpetual dreamless sleep. They are in death.
Luke chapter 16:19- Beggar(Lazarus) dies and is carried away by angels. Rich Man dies and in Hell he wakes up in torments. Rich Man sees Lazarus above at Abraham's side. That's the one who has been dead 2000 years when Jesus tells this story. Rich man begs for water, begs for Lazarus to go tell his brothers about this place(Hell). Rich man is allowed to remember his life time. All these people are doing this after they are dead. I believe Jesus NOT YOU. Sorry!

Nicodemus would have a difficult time accepting Christ's words about heavenly things simply because no man ever came from Heaven like He did. Jesus simply assured Nicodemus that His Word could be trusted regarding Heavenly things because He was one that had been there already. No other man on earth could make such a claim as this. In other words, all men could only speak of earthly things, never heavenly things.

Those that choose to worship on a Sunday do not have the Mark of the Beast, but it is something that will become an issue in the coming times, the Bible from the fall of Adam to the end is all about obedience and how we worship God, follow God not man!
