I think noteflight might be easier than this but I do like the sound quality of this notation program. Plus theres alot more instruments too. I beleive if this could be better than noteflight only if the editing part was alot more simple. It might just be me or that its hard to playbacks and change instrument clef signs.
@BassicStorm At this stage, MuseScore doesn't play back trills or mordents. It's possible that it will in the future (I know other notation programs that do play them back). I believe there has been some discussion about this in the MuseScore forums already. I've noticed that you've asked this same question on 4 different videos, so I'll just answer it once here.
@born4computer It's in parts because not everyone wants to sit through a 40 min+ video to find the bit they need. I'm very happy to hear that you're so keen to watch it all in one go though.
You are obviously a spoilt brat with moronic tendencies who gets his jollies from writing abuse on a forum like this because you would not dare to say it directly to someone's face. Grow up first before playing with adults otherwise you will only make yourself look an even bigger fool.
@harrygatto Congrats buddy. You just engaged a troll in the internet. Your comment made me totally learn the wrongs of my ways and now I shall go on to change my habits. Also before you call someone "moronic," lean how to spell "spoiled."
"Spoilt" is traditionally the correct use of the past tense of the verb spoil but more recently has been supplanted by "spoiled" in the US. Spoilt is still commonly used in the UK and its former colonies.
Good to see that you can post without resorting to bad language.
@MyStorm16 In notation programs, you don't move notes or rests left and right. You need to replace what's already in the bar with what you want. Watch MuseScore in 10 Easy Steps parts 3 and 4 (which cover note entry) to see how.
@angelhalo3333 There's some info in the online handbook on the MuseScore website (under "drum notation"). And keep an eye out for the 9th video in this series which will be uploaded soon. It will cover drum notation in detail.
@katiesw1 Hello on the website to download it you go to a page and it says "please check out an offer from our advertizers..." do you have to check out that thing and add all your info just to download it? Or do you have have to fill out all that info for muscore itself? thank you for any help =D
@JUSTINMILL3R No - you shouldn't need to check out the advertiser's offer in order to download MuseScore. If you have any other download issues, visit the MuseScore forum - they're very helpful :)
@simulation17 Quite simple actually but help files are cr*p. Make sure you select a (half note - minim] along with the rest. Then when you click on top of a note with the rest selected, a half rest replaces the equivalent number of crotchets (2) or minims (1).
I accidently deleted my tool bar on the left. How do I get it back ?
