@badman2504 Thanks! I'd probably have to do some clutchless shifts to get that sort of time hehe, or maybe my reaction times are slower now that I am a little older.
i don't understand why isn't the cbf 1000 more powerful. i mean it's an expensive bike so a little more power would make it more competitive, since the 1000cc market is so full of great options. but i don't know, maybe i'm wrong.
@wwfww You're probably right that the CBF1000 should be making more power generally, but I guess that's Honda's philosophy on making a wide range of bikes to suit most tastes. I will say this for it though, it will out-torque a hell of a lot of similar sized bikes at lower revs so that's a very good plus point in my mind. My other option in this class from Honda was the CB900 Hornet, but went for the CBF instead, meaning I probably lost about 10 - 15 bhp.
Shut up and drive....la la la

@XANF2 Oops! Well spotted! I normally ride with gloves of course but this was a blisteringly hot day for the UK at least.

@121davo121 4.65 I made it ;-) but 4 secs is probably possible with the right clutch control. Thanks for commenting too!
