@Nbc186234 to get chaos emeralds, collect those keys in levels, and then find the locked spring in the level select for each one. once you get all 7 from each zone, play the final level and youll get this fight.

It seems that this boss has different attacking styles in different runs. Sometimes, he stretches out his arms just after one hit or three hits, but I never got this scenario where he allowed 5 hits before the arms stretched out. Am I right in saying that this boss requires many restarts to get the right "scenario"?

I completely forgot to retry this boss since I got that. Me and my horrid memory... I'm just not fond of this battle due to:

A: The time taken to get here with many lives

B: My lack of getting him to do what I want.

Dunno when I'll bother to get a lower time.
