  • ok saw right side RD all right....

  • I have a 72 R5c that engine looks more like that model....nice job !

  • Tricky little number you built there - nice.

Interesting that you went hydraulic for the clutch... was that just a "for the interest of it" mod?

  • Nice

  • pipes are hvccycle lincoln NE

  • @englishkids1 No, they are NOT HVC. I built them, from scratch. Jeez.

  • I dont take anything smaller than 500 cc seriously as a street bike, but since this thing is 2 stroke, I just double the displacement. I was looking at a CB 350 on a another site. This thing would blow that away! I have a 500 cc 4 stroke dirt bike thats faster than a CB 350! and I hate it because its TOO SLOW !

  • Had one a long time ago! I forgot how awsome that engine sounds!! Bravo!

  • looks super clean nice build dude!

  • it seem like most people that own cafe racers are fabricators too lol

  • That thing must move pretty well.

  • sounds gorgoeus. i wouldn't say the pilot jets are too rich, i'd say they're nice and safe.

  • nice.good job

  • Nice Ride !!!!

  • lol at those that think you didn't build those pipes.

Imagine if they seen the ones you now sell in stainless steel.

  • Look like Toomey pipes from Toomey Racing, which used to make RD stuff.

  • Very nice! I used to have one set up nearly the same except mine didn't have those massive front disks, was red and had custom heads. Oh, and it had the factory rear fender. The seat was slightly different but the same basic shape and size. I couldn't tell you anything about any of the mods because I bought it already tricked out. This was back in 1985 in Oregon. It was a hell of a lot of fun! Ported & polished, jetted carbs, pipes that looked a lot like those.

  • Man you did an amazing job. I have 75 RD350 and i noticed you have a hydraulic clutch. How did you go about that? It it from another bike? What would i need to do it too?

  • That thing is Tits McGee!

I can't wait to finish mine.

  • very near my personal favorite look, also your technical setup....please tell me what parts did you use for the double disc front brake setup thx Richard

  • One word...Wow!

  • are the fork legs backwards? nice bike anyways:)

  • very nice work congrats! i have a rd 125 and i try to make a work like yours

  • how fast can it go??

  • where did you relocate the oil resevoir to?

  • Very nice . Great work .

  • Damn ! that is a mighty fine bike you have there

  • i want it i want it i want it i want it i want it

  • BIT RICH ON ONE SIDE

  • What kind of tank is on that? rd400? And you should build me a set of pipes.

  • @quinndoug it looks like the 'coffin' style tanks off the later models like the DX. I had one on my RD 250 B I assumed someone had fitted it later after a spill.

  • Hey there, I just purchased an RD 350 the other day with very similar exhaust and I aven't been able to find any markings on it. Are you able to tell me which manufacturer made those?

  • Huh. They are one of a kind. I built them.

  • @dest101101 Oh wow I didn't know that. Hahaha mine are exactly the same.Well thats good to know. Perhaps custom as well. Thank you very much.

  • Beautiful bike!

  • where did you get your seat?

  • @HailCaesar1623 in banglore

  • a beauty!congrats!

  • dude, ride the bike! I love the rd, but it sounds even better at 9000rpm!

  • Impressive!! i bet next stage is a nice paint job...i noticed some crancks in the fuel deposit. That one painted in white with a red strap and the yamaha logo would look better. What a nice bike!!

  • what type of intake runners are those going to the carbs?

  • Lovely - the exhaust notes electric . The bikes very well prepared -well done
