Hi Bhavna, I was waiting for so many days to see if you uploaded a new recipe and finally you did :) thanks so much for this recipe. By the way, where were you hiding all these days :( i missed you!!
I know many of you missing me these days but these days, I am very busy with holiday season, job and family...little slow but will make sure to post videos...and also launching new website bhavnaskitchendotcom...
Yes, I do but at present, I am behind for everything due to holidays, kids and family. Hoping to get to normal life soon and I am also launching new website which will be more fun to follow...keep enjoying! I already have two websties running which you can find the links on homepage of this channel. Enjoy!
I did show how I strained through strainer and using several layers of cheese clothes. And at end, I also showed how much amount strained out in bowl...
What makes it different then regular cream cheese? I work at a bakery and we make a cake that has this masc. cheese in it and I never know what to tell them!!!
The only difference is the savory taste of the cream cheese vs. the sweet taste of the mascarpone cheese. I find mascarpone cheese a bit creamier than cream cheese too. Cream cheese has a bit of a grainy texture sometimes. Cheesecake made with mascarpone is creamier and sweeter.
i have read a recipe for vegan cashew 'sour cream' that can be allowed to get to the sourness and consistency that is needed. -- soak raw cashews over night, puree them until creamy and add the culture that you use for yogurt and leave covered in a warm dark place until it has a yogurt/sour cream taste and consistency. it can be drained much the same as you drained this. it is great.

bhavna how much cheese you've got from this amount of cream?
TinsiTheMani 2 months ago
@TinsiTheMani
You get almost most amount of cheese, only 2-3tbsp water will drain. So basically, you get the amount of cheese you take the cream....
