@deincre - I don't imply that all Muslims DO bad, but that all Muslims buy into a philosophy that by it's very nature is inherently bad. That they believe bad things based on what they feel is "good" moral philosophy is the saddest part.

The notion that there are massive numbers of terrorists or terrorist sympathizers in the middle east is an absolute fallacy. @deincre - It's so pathetic to hear Muslims continue to deny that Islam promotes violence even as we constantly see video footage of acts of violence, murder, terrorism, oppression, misogyny, etc all committed in the name of Allah/Muhammad and sanctioned under Sharia law.
You say that as a Muslim you could "no more bomb a group of innocent people than you could" - And yet we've foiled NUMEROUS bombing attempts by Muslims right here in NYC in recent years.

@deincre - Well, FYI, I don't "hate" Muslims or any people. I hate destructive ideologies and the fruit it gives forth - cultures of barbarism and inhumane abuse of women and children.
Those that follow their tenets and commit acts of violence and rampant human rights abuses based on them are blight on society. That some fundamentalist followers physically act on the worst parts of their beliefs and others don't (but many sympathize) underscores how bad the whole thing is.

Islamic societies are structured in ways where barbarism and violence - especially against women and children, is permissible and goes unpunished because of "scriptural justification".

Well, name one culture or religion in the world that hasn't been steeped in those things. Plus tribalism is only a bad thing to you because your culture does not practice it any more. There is an age requirement for marriage in most Islamic countries now, Arab Bedouins do still preform child marriages but generally those are not recognized by their respective countries. This sounds like a rant to me, nothing based on actual fact, but on footage from Afghanistan and whichever articles on this "honor (fill the gap)" you mentioned so much.

It's been highly crafty, treacherous at times and opportunistic at others - but it's never done so in the same vicious, barbaric, ruthless manner with which Muslims and Arabs deal with each other and the rest of the world.
We at least only do things because it's in our best interest from a national security standpoint, not religious zealotry or ideology. Now on the other hand, George W. Bush is a war criminal.
