I love this video. It's like everything I feel when I'm at Garner in this video. I go there every year usually camp out at New Garner area. Love that part of the river. I can Fish, swim, and just relax by the rapids. I like the activities at garner too, I love it when those ppl come from San Antonio with their telesocpes and they show us Mars, Saturn, and all these other things that blow my mind!! Nice Vid!! :) Kudos!!

i just got back it was wonderful we stayed in front of the entrance of the big hill this guy was sitting on. and at night the mountain lions come down at night one night there was a mother and her cub so nobody got any sleep that night other than that its a great place to visit

Garner is an amazing place. I have been going there since i was 2. It has kinda become a family tradition.Wonderful place to stay and spend time with family or friends. Everytime i go i feel as if i am away from the stress of everyday life and i can just go and enjoy nature and what God gave us.

I lived in uvalde texas which is like 20 minutes from the park so now im 26 and reside in the great big valley in south texas, now i take my kids and they love it. i recommend it. even when i lived in moorhead mn, we would travel back down just to visit the park and family in uvalde.

My husband and I continued the tradition with our own three sons, and eventually, my sons brought their own children. In August, we will all be together again, with 4 generations of our family enjoying the park we love so much.
You know, I just came from there yesterday, and a particular ranger made sure my party would NOT have a good time. I think his name was Allen or something but his presence made all of my party feel uncomfortable. Of course some of my friends deserved it more than others but this ranger made EVERYONE uneasy when we all just wanted to enjoy the park.
Ok, there were a couple of bad seeds that we had leave a day or two early but because of those two the rest of the group felt uneasy whether that same ranger would try to find something else wrong with us. He kept coming back with attitude. I've been going there once or twice a year for almost a decade and this is the first run-in I've ever had with any ranger.
Yes sir you are the same piece of garbage as the one that park rangers look for because you represent everyone who trashes the outdoors. Your children, if you ever have any, will be embarrassed of you to be your offspring if they ever read this comment. Just pray they never will.
I have a friend from France coming to visit in July & August...this will give a wonderful idea of what Garner is like beforehand...except for the HEAT!!!!
I grew up about 10 miles from GSP. Nice video. Really makes me homesick. We used to go during the summer to the nightly dances on a regular basis. Brings back some awesome memories.
I havent been here since childhood. I distinicvley remember the jagged and striated part of the river you captured. Superb Shots! Sure is pretty up there, especially with the weather this weekend.
