Spoon and Mine already made tuned versions of the GTR, but that's like new performance parts like exhaust, headers and turbos.

the body mods arn't that different though.

Im actually getting use to the exterior styling but the interior dash is completly horrible! like they pieced it together from several late model cars and 1970 luggage and slaped it on a washing machine. clearly the designer had an ugly bone in there body. Tjis is about 520 horses elsewhere. The US version is 480. I'll find out the torque later. This Skyline is sure to open up a can of whoop-ass on that Porsche 911 Turbo, 'Vette Z06, and the Viper. This Skyline will leave 'em all in the dust drinking its smoke.

Dealers want ( I know ive check around here in Socal) 94k for the 530hp vspec version..PLUS 50-80 over sticker thats around 200k with tax and licensing.. I've been getting thumbs down for saying that this car (the base model) will sell nowhere near what people here are saying ($70K). When U.S. dealers get it they will ask for much more over sticker and GTR lovers will pay it. The same thing happened with the Z06.

Plus, when the U.S. gets done with emmisions on this car, the power won't be the same.

I looked up Nissan GTR dealers in Japan and found dealers were wanting $92K.

No manual tranny . Its only offered with a duel clutch 6 speed auto . But it shifts faster and more smooth than anyone could. and it enables a power launch at 4500 rpm.

The name Skyline never referred to the NIssan GTR. If you go to Japan and talk about a Skyline they wouldn't know you're reffering to what a Skyline is for us in U.S. So it's still the same thing. A GTR has always been a GTR. A Skyline is a Skyline and a Skyline GTR is a Skyline GTR.

Whenever you see ANY car taped like that it is "secretive" and it shows how the car is not yet complete. All car manufacturers with sport cars do this. It's also known that when you see the car in that form it's NOT the final production.
