Co-operatives are the best way to keep people employed. Fenwick and Rochdale proved that. It also is one of the best ways to work and grow economically, esponsibly and ethically.

I agree the co-op treat thier staff really badly compared to Somerfield. I work at Bristall which has recently been changed. It was soo much fun when it was Somerfield and used to have a laugh now its co-op its like a iron curtain has been brought down

If an advert needs a six minute film to explain it, perhaps that advert isn't such a good one.... shame coz it's a great company.

you do see alot of co-ops in agriculture and energy companies, but what if walmart could be a co-op? I think it could be, then their employees would truly be "Associates".

I'm working on a book about co-ops. I would really like to see them get off the ground in the US. The UK, and other nations the idea of co-ops is more widely known than in the US. Hardly anyone here knows anything about them. People just assume you either have a traditional capitalist corporation with a few owning it or government ownership. There is another way.

Youtube has software that can detect copy protected music, which it does when anyone loads up our advert. I have added a version that has a bit of music at the end and also included links to where you can see the video online with sound, on co-op website and guardian media website.

i understood why it was being muted i just thought it would be ok due to it being an advert.
