i met montell at his show as part of a class trip. he was very gentlemanly and gave us a whole half hour of histime to answer questions & ask us some of his own. he was sincerely interested in what we had to say. i can't even remember the content of the show, it was pretty lackluster about stalkers or obsessive partners something, but I was really impressed with his demeanour and decency. he wasn't self absorbed at all. i'd love to buy him a beer, or blaze with him

I've read his book, and I've seen several shows he has done. A much classier operation than Jenny Jones, Jerry Springer, and several other of these shows. He's always been about discussing real people, real problems, in real terms.

But at the end his feelings about the situation surfaced and you can see the host looking uncomfortable as he started criticizing the media again.
