Hmm... What others have mentioned on being the first driverless subway is kinda inaccurate. The accurate definition (as used by the Land Transport Authority of Singapore) is: Singapore is the first in the world to have a fully driverless/automated heavy metro.
I guess you're referring to London's Docklands Light Railway, which isn't a heavy metro (e.g. London Underground).

Yup. It is the Northeast Line (NEL). Just hear the announcement. Chinatown is the next station.
Only NEL tunnels have a walkway beside the train tracks. SMRT's tunnels don't.

This is an MRT train on the Northeast Line which is completely underground. =D Therefore it doesn't come out of the tunnel.
