He was posthumously awarded the title of the National Hero of Azerbaijan.

Albert Agarunov was born in Azerbaijan, Baku as his Grandfathers and their Grandfathers, he has a possibility to go to Israel but he stood in Azerbaijan and went as voluntery to the war to defend his Azerbaijan, the same as his Grandfathers made.
