This is a good clip of what I believe the film will be about. I'm curious as to what type of music the second gentleman listened to as a teen. Did his feelings change after having children or was he always more straightlaced? Was it the Guns and Roses or Barbara Streisand cassette tapes? Does he watch The Sopranos, Heat, or Bladerunner where murder is prevalent?

I think that Jesse Jackson has portrayed Barack as an Uncle Tom a few times. Tieuel Legacy...shining filmmaker.

tieuellegacy, it's a difference between rock and gangsta hip hop. Hip Hop portrays a more criminal type behavior where rock portrays a more rebel type behavior. It's like the difference between a bar fight and shooting a person because you feel they disrespected you. I never remember Guns and Roses getting gun charges press against any of them. They had many run ins with the law but it was always like assaults, property destruction, & DUIs.

Okay I hear you. So let's break it down further. You're saying that rock stars didn't carry, and still don't carry, guns. Is that right? I'm going to assume that you're not making this a race issue so I'll go with what I just mentioned. Okay. When you say gun charges, are you talking about carrying weapons and having charges against them or are you talking about hip hoppers shooting at people? How many do YOU know of that were arrested for shooting? How did Kurt Cobain kill himself?

tieuellegacy, most rappers get charges against them for carrying guns. You had Shine and Puffy, Snoop Dog, and Cassidy got charges pressed against them for shooting people. Most of them beat the case. Eminem had gun charges against him for throwing a gun in somebody face. Let's not mention all the rappers that have been shot after they became rappers. Kurt Cobain kill himself with a shot gun and he KILLED HIMSELF. Rap promotes crime and thuggism. Rock promotes bad shit too but it's different.

You opened up the debate a little. U R talking about carrying versus shooting. It's different. There's a right to bear arms. If Lennon would've carried, he might not have died. Even the Cowboys ex-coach carried a gun on the plane. If you were as hi prof as Diddy was after 2 of the most notorious murders in history, you'd probably carry also. So actually you meant gun related charges versus a discharge. It is violent. With research, I'm sure that we can find rockers with guns. Tieuel Legacy!

I really don't believe that I asked you to reply. You replied to me directly and vice versa. You said that some of them were acquitted. So they were found innocent. If I wanted to use you for research then I would've asked you. It's not like you're dealing with some minor that doesn't do research. Carrying a gun isn't a crime so your argument is weak to say the very least. Why don't you just say that rockers are innocent and hip hoppers are guilty no matter what? Miss me with that. TL!

Carrying a gun is illegal if you don't have a license to carry. Usually you have to have a specific reason to carry and must carry the license at all times. Carrying a gun is illegal if you are a felon which a lot of rappers are felons. The rappers I listed were found innocent of murder or assualt. Most of the time they cop pleas on the gun charges. Many of them have been convicted like Shine & Remy Ma. Anybody that follows hip hop knows this stuff.
