I nearly hit a deer on the way home from work at 11.00pm on the A1. It jumped over the central reservation nearly hiting a car on the side (that car was on the inside lane) then it did a 180 back across in to my lane(the fast lane) I could see its rear end just above my line of sight above the bonet. A lucky escape.
Last time I'd drive with that guy. Fastest way to crash is to have some jerk wad grab the wheel. The driver will automatically try to correct and the force of two people jerking the wheel rarely ends well.
I don't care how you are, only the driver has the wheel! Anyone reach over and grab the wheel is likely to loose a hand in my car. Bad passenger, bad instructor, bad move!
If you watch carefully instructor did not do much. The man who driven a car was taken of the foot from the gas pedal, and you can see that on the speed indicator.
I don't know what to think. Any normal person grabbing the wheel in panic could cause an accident. But this guy is apparently an instructor i don't know
Think about it for a second, car weighing only 500 odd kg, with no body panels or protective panels to speak of. That deer would have been probably at leat 70+ kg. I think you can safely say if they had hit it, not only would the wheel have been stuffed, but guaranteed, both of the people in it would have been stuffed too!
Thank goodness he did grab the wheel, or this might have been one ugly video!
@XxSTICH666xX I dont know man it looks like he kinda saved that entire front left wheel susspention and all that good stuff you gotta think if he hit a dear the whole wheel is just open wouldnt have been good. i know what you mean but then again i think i would have been greatfull.
