Craig Armtrong: Portuguese Love Theme (from 'Love Actually' soundtrack) - piano version

I finally reached the point where I could play this piece a few months ago. I learned the published version as well, and I agree it's a little thin. What's the sequence you're playing as accompaniment in the measures where the published version just has the octave and then moves up a half-step in the bass line? (For example, the measure that starts around 1:14 in your video.) I can recognize it from the original recording but I'm not an ear player so I can't pick out the notes themselves.

@krotap Thank you. Alas I borrowed the score I used for the video from a library and no longer have it available. I don't remember making any additions to the written notes, and wonder if maybe you have a simplified version. I used one of the MusicSales Essential Film Themes Books - can't remember which but you can do a search for the title on MusicRoom.

He wrote a 15 minute opera called 'Gesualdo' for Scottish Opera in 2008 - they did a series of very short operas. (I once wrote a 10-minute opera myself, but don't think it is up to Scottish Opera standards somehow!)
