i remember i was in school in the cafeteria back in like 2003 and this lady came up to me and told me i looked like charles grigsby and i didnt know who he was. i looked him up and it was kinda scary.

To be honest, this song cracks me up so much... every time I hear it or sing it, I just cant control the tears. A little pathetic I know, but its possibly the best song ever written by the greatest musical genius of our times. Some people just feel that quite strongly - I totally relate

i thought i was the only one! I have a problem with this song...for some reason I get a lump in my throat everytime I hear it. Once I was driving with 2 friends- Stevie's version came on the radio- I asked them to change it, and they refused. By the modulation near the end of the song (before he says "You know they all say 'improbable'..."), I'm in tears...and they're roaring...LOL

I still love Charles' voice . . . thought this was one of the best tracks on the Season 2 cast album. I was devastated when he left the show, as I truly thought he was on the verge of a "breakout" performance.
