now that is clever......awesome job dude on the Binary counter......fantastic......I am going to link this video on my website. Again...awesome counter
@SonicGirl1111 Computers can't understand base 10 numbers (what us humans are used to reading) so we use base 2, and now have to learn how to convert. Another fun fact is that it's really easy to convert base 2 to base 16 (hexadecimal) using blocks of 8 binary digits to blocks of 2 hexadecimal digits, 0000 0000 being 00, and 1111 0000 being F0 for example.
That's because a kid in my school decided to learn binary code...and he said it took him a year and a half. So I wanted to see what the hell binary was
I totally understand this now!

is this what you call 64 bits?
or bits are simply decimals ?
kaladze09 3 years ago
A "bit" is short for "binary digit".
The number in the video is 6 bits, which allows 2^6 = 64 different values.
Adding another bit would double the number of available digits. Two more would make a "byte" (one byte = 8 bits).
Decimal digits are the 0-9 numbers that we use every day.

Brilliant! I always wondered if something like that was possible. It totally mimics the way my C programs work.
