I was totally thinking Lucas/Peyton too! Marti and Peyton even have the same hair (as do Brooke and Savannah), and then they had that whole "oh, I'm so glad you're my best friend" and then passionate make out scene that ends with them realizing they "shouldn't have," which leads to later tension etc...so similar.

I agree so much with the Lucas/Peyton comment. Marti can't be with Dan now because he's dating her good friend and she just wants him to be happy... just like Lucas/Peyton/Brooke :) But Dan will eventually realize it's always been Marti hopefully! They're amazing together <3
