  • Valen I learned different express time in english.... this is very good video ... for every one(Who's going to express time differently).

    Thank U so Much

  • what i don/t get it

  • five o five...quarter after...ahhh...the bastardized version of english created by the damned americans.

  • what does it mean when people just say "it's quarter to"; "ten to" etc...without mentioning the hour

  • Thanks a lot, pure language. A nice teacher and model for the better English and I hope you do more videos.

    Ahmed, middle east, Egypt, Cairo:)

  • Instead of using 'to', wouldn't the correct word be 'til? An example would be, "It's ten 'til one" or 12:50. I know some pronounce it as 'to', but isn't the actual word an abbreviated form of until or 'til?

  • very good and funny video. thank you very much

  • Hi Valen! you are great! but I think you need to take back with your discussion about quarter to 6. The time is telling quarter to 7 already, right? hehehe. I'm pretty sure you have just missed it.

  • i think so hehehe...

  • you are absolutely right Mr Apacuser

  • thinks

  • classic teaching it's realy u all teacher's rare genius nothing i can say more mind blowing god bless u.i can't explain by words i'm extremely delighted.

  • Hi Valen. u're very good at explaining things, i've checked ur video about idioms too, but because of the speed of your speach i guess a beginner would never understand what u are talking about therefore these lessons are rather for advanced students. the only bad point is that for those who can understand it there is no need to talk about something like pm. and noon. I think teaching advanced better fits to ur personality :) would love to see more lessons on idioms from u too..
