You need to remember that generally only people who have seen Cowboy Bebop will hunt this out.

The tune's okay, but no way does it deserve a 99.8% goodness rating (558 likes and 1 dislike at time of writing).

I'm a big fan of Yoko Kanno, and for example, her "Power of the Light" and "Platinum" (Card Captor) pieces are much more sophisticated harmonically and melodically as well as being much more interesting and intricate.

Good singer though.

Cowboy bebop IS the most popular anime/manga not just because of the story but more towards the music and settings. I loved it at age 9 and still love it at age 19. YES! i watched the bebop at age 9 when i could late night. and to this day, the music, story, characters, setting, lines and more are what i love about it. DBZ was alright, Bleach was boring after the first visit to soul society and Naruto is annoying in English. Bebop is just unchangeable.
