Zaalishvili is a terrific singer, truly one of the great tenors of all times - Kozlovsky's equal, and definitely better than Lemeshev (which isn't to say that Lemeshev was a bad tenor, not at all!). It's such a pity that he isn't better known, at least outside Georgia - and even on youtube, there are far too few clips for a singer of such importance. If you have anything else by him, please share.

@TifosoBonisolli Thanks for your comment. Sadly, he is poorly underrated even in Georgian, for our shame. You can hear him in other parts of Daisi, also there are some more recordings, which I will certainly share later.

Really stunning! Full of hauntingly beautiful melodies, and also the patriotic overtones are what renders it moving!
