Here's what I'm thinking guys...I don't think they did a top 10. I think they decided to just skip that part of the contest and just go straight to picking a Grand Prize Winner and a first prize winner. The email they sent a few days ago announcing that voting would begin on August 1st did state that they were still looking at all entries before choosing 2 winners.

I can't imagin that you're not in the top 10 man, I've spent the last 2 days watching all the entries and yours is definitly leaps and bounds above the rest. They're probablly just behind schedule on notification like most of these contests are. Some of those are horrible, mine still doesn't even show up...

Thanks for the compliments Danny, but it really has to do with which IDEA Career Builder feels they can best Re-produce. I also think mine is solid, but they may feel other concepts 'Brand' more effectively. I may have missed the mark as far as branding is concerned. Message me and I'll explain.

Very kind of you to say. Though, in my opinion, all bets are off on this contest. Clearly, CB is looking for 'ideas' that they are going to re-shoot. So it is the concept that is most important and I guarantee there will be ones stronger than mine.

Frankly, your spot has a strong comedic element that could very well appeal to CB. Yeah, I def. wouldn't place any bets on the crests and troughs of this one. Would love to be a fly on the wall come judging time.

Thanks for the compliments! It was actually filmed in various spots in Ahwatukee Foothills (which is south of the city of Phoenix), but in all fairness, most of the Valley looks the same.

Yes, believe it or not I did use superglue after everything else failed. I tried just two quills the day before the shoot to see what kind of problems i would encounter.

I suffered no allergic reaction and they came off easily. i can't say that it is 'safe' to use, since everyone is different, and yes the fumes sucked (the tears in my eyes were natural and YES from the fumes) but aside from that, it went smooth.

Thanks Matt. Yeah, I used the real CB logo animation from one of their SuperBowl spots as a template and reconstructed it, so it isn't my own creative. I think I matched it close enough to fool most editors though.
