I don't have this amp anymore, but as I recall...yes you can because once it got flipped and there was NO output. I believe it was because the direct / Xlr switch was flipped.
Can you run this thing straight through an output (XLR, maybe) with no speakers connected? A friend just got one (head only) and he hasn't gotten a speaker cab for it, so I wanted to see if I could run him straight into my PA through the XLR without damaging his head (or my PA).
how much did this sell for? im thinking of upgrading to an all tube amp eventually, and right now i have a Line 6 flextone II HD head, and the cab is i think a Line 6 212S or something like that, and i have the floorboard too, does anyone know how much that would be worth (used)? i can't find them online anywhere and i heard that line 6 discontinued them?
these are really good amps - most people just don't know how to operate em. (not referring to the video owner here) In my opinion, the Flextone series is the best kept secret from Line 6. Vetta is too expensive and the Spider series are fairly lame. Not sure why the Flextone gets ignored...
i mean the alternative amp settings there are 16 on the dial and if you hold the tap button when sellecting an amp setting it goes to tis alternative an example is.
class a+tap = class a #3 there is infact 32 different amp configurations. and you can play with the delay by holding tap and adjusting the mid and bass controlls to shape the sound of the delay and even make it repeat. there are loads of little tricks on this amp
lol that happend to me in a gig i had been doing studio work and forgot lol. mine is 10 years old now only mono works and i had to replace my switch and the led that light the face up have stopped working. this is the best amp ever have you been through all the alternative modes yet ???

This amp is solid state.. The only amps that Line 6 sells with tubes is the Spider Valve series.
