Ummm...perhaps you haven't been keeping up with who has the most money? Did you know Ron Paul had 58,000 individuals contribute $6.4 miillion dollars to his campaign in 24-hour period on Dec 16 alone? Huckababy hasn't collected that for the entire quarter! Oh, and out of that 58,000 donors, 25,000 were "first time donors":) Read and weep!

The media is not going to play a copy of a copy on the air. This might get 5,000 views.
Good decision not to run it. BUT, you should run an ad that details the specific items that Romney is attacking and end the ad with: I'm Mike Huckabee and I will only approve the TRUTH.
Attack the attacks with the FACTS, not the attacker with rhetoric!

We prepared it, sent the ad to the television stations here in Iowa, and it was supposed to start running at noon today. This morning, I ordered my staff to pull the ad; I told them I do not want it to be run. If it was run at all, it would be until the stations pulled it off their schedules. And we are now committed, from now through the rest of the caucuses, that we will run only the ads that talk about why I should be president, and not why Mitt Romney should not.

Huckabee "refreshing"? You should check out today's (12/31/07) LA Times article. Apparently as Gov he held up a bill to provide relief to victims of a tornado for 4 whole weeks b/c he objected to language in the bill that described the tornado as an "act of god." He successfully defended the Almighty from blame, but at the expense of the public good. I'd call that retrograde not refreshing.

Ron Paul raised 6 million dollars in 24 hours, and more money than any other republican candidate in this fourth quarter.
That translates to votes in the primary.
Whether or not those votes get counted is another issue...
End this "war on terror (end this occupation, dont go to war with Iran), end the war on drugs, and restore our civil liberties.
