I loved my glowworm when I was a kid. I remember whenever I spent the night at a friends house ( I was scared of the dark, and being away from home) I was like 6 or 7 and I felt totally safe holding my glowarm in my arms while I slept. One of my favorite toys. LOL. Too bad I dont have that toy anymore, my daughter would've loved it!

I had the original green Glow-Worm from 1982. (the year I was born) It was one of my FAVORITE toys. It ended up in the toy-chest at my grandparents' house, 500 miles away, and last year, when I visited my grandparents, and tried to get the toy back for nostalgia reasons, I found out my grandfather had thrown it into the garage furnace, along with all the other toys. My God, was I ever upset. Sure, I could probably look for another one on eBay, but it just wouldn't be the same.

When I was a kid I had a glow worm and one day that thing just starting making this creepy ticking noise and it would never stop. I think the music chip in it was malfunctioning or something.
