how long is the flight from JFK to Helsinki

@SpassMacher2000 JFK to Helsinki is about 8 hours, usually make it in 7.5 hours. HEL to JFK is longer about 9 to 9.5 hours.

@vanhakaveri there's a few reasons. A lot of flights flying from Europe to the US fly a more southerly route and not to mention head winds.

@metal484 because when you fly back the gulf winds push you. When you fly to JFk your going a longer route.

It can be as short as 6 h 45 mins if you're really lucky (as I once was), but usually it's somewhere between 7 and 7½ hours, sometimes a bit more. HEL-JFK usually takes around 8-8½ hours (my experiences range from 7 h 50 mins to 8 h 40 mins).

I don't mind finnairs selection of movies/tv shows I mean how many movies can you watching on a flight? but their music is so bad.. Emirates has the best music on their planes, but of course this is a finnair video, and this is great stuff.

i have traveled with many different airlines and honestly i have not found an airline yet with decent music selection, which is why I always bring my ipod. But other then music, the rest of the entertainment options are excellent.

true, but who really listens to the music that is offered on a plane. the movie selection is excellent along with the TV Shows. And another nice plus is that you can choose a camera facing down or foward and see a live feed of what's going on outside.

Finnair has high quality touch screen PTVs on their widebody Airbuses, the film/music selection is rather limited though.

A nice plus is you can send sms messages and short emails.
