I think it could be a bug that is so close to the lens that it appears only on 2 or 3 frames. And it's so blurred that we can't define what it could be.

One should look in to how many frames it takes for this "rod" to cross the screen and compare the results with a bug crossing the screen.

People believe that we cannot see these so called rods because we have weakened our eyesight because we do not use our eyes for survival and we use a lot of screens like the one you are looking at now which is not good for your eyes. Animals on the other hand still use there eyes as much as they used to and they can see these things.

iv seen these things when i experimented with mushrooms. clear as day. There was something beautiful about them for a second i thought they were angels white bird like creatures the only blackness on their bodies was in their eyes and the shadowy groves between their smooth silk like wings it was an amazing experience they dove from tree to tree before they leaped from one tree their bodies resembled the position of an Olympic diver before jumping in to the water.

You're right... there have been scientific researches (what a waste of money)to prove rods are nothing but a visual phenomenon created by the video cameras. They filmed insects using two cameras side by side: A normal camera and a high speed camera. Then they compared all the rods flying around in the regular video to the perfect moths shown by the high speed cameras. Rods are pretty much the lamest "whatchamacallits" people have come up with recently. It's sad so many people believe this shit.

Oh, by the way... Anyone who's a little used to video shooting KNOWS that there are all sorts of ARTIFACTS that can be shown on the screen. As some expert said: "A Camera can be fooled, just as your eyes can be fooled. Different things might fool the camera. That wouldn't fool you if you were there." and he finishes by saying that cameras (especially digital ones) try hard to depict reality but sometimes they come up with things that just aren't there.

I'm telling you people.. let it go...

belive this or not, i was out side with my cat, and i just happen to look in "Snickers" direction, and i SAW a white something shooting by Snickers and she tried to chase it...when the moment was over, i called her and cuddled her and told her she wasnt alone,i saw it too-i have always seen "things" and have accepted this, but this was a first-a rod....no i couldnt tell what it was,it was too fast, but i knew it somehow, and so did my cat..

the cat reacted to something. this really seems like the cats eye which is attuned to the slightest movement at a higher degree then human eyes can follow, may have really noticed the rods, and if so, the cat couldn't follow the speed of the rod either, just more than us.

"rods" or "skyfish" are rather common in the mountain regions of japan / rarely do you see them in city areas (which makes up most of JP)

Those could be spirits. I notice that a lot of paranormal investigators are split into two beliefs. One half is for ghosts, and the other half is for ufos and aliens. My personal beliefs are kinda grey but I do believe that these might be roaming spirits. Nice video btw
