  • you should use more leg on either side to stop her running out of fences she doesn't like, also make sure you have a clear line up to your jump, that way it gives the horse less of a chance to run out:) but great riding your horse is gorgeous and your position is good!

  • wow, how do you jump with such long stirrups?! i put mine up 3 holes for jumping :)

  • You must identify the horse better. And more speed! .. Otherwise good:)

  • What a cute pony! Nice job getting her over the jumps she didn't want to go over esp that bale one if she was getting looking at it! Good job keeping with her when loosing your stirrups too! You guys honestly make a nice horse and rider pair!

  • awww! im glad ur ok, u just lost ur balance that first time, hey! it happens;) not bad with 4th and 5th, its ur first show! so good job! at my first show i got a 2nd a 3rd and a 4th, but hey! all riders r different! keep workin hard, i c a bright future for u!!:)

  • Not a lot of legs, that's the problem.

    but handle it very well.

  • Aww this was real good for your first show ;) :)

P.S: I subbed if u get the time sub back ;)

  • Your not a bad rider! i fell off at my second show.I ride lots of stubborn ponies and fall of ALOT. falling off doesn't make you a bad rider! Good Job!

  • you two look great, you should have gotten first :)

  • haha, you lost your stirrups, but dont feel bad or anything, you still jumped! that happens to me all the time, i ride a green poy and he always does unexpected things, i went fo an outside line and i lost bothe stirrups and jumped them both as i would if i had stirrups, now my trainer is thinking about letting me jump bareback lol, and how old r u? u dont have to tell me just wondering

  • i think if u keep both legs on she would have not refused, but other wise great job :)

  • That was on my Birthday!

  • Aaahhh it is true you do look good, I'm dreading my first show on my 5yr old, I may beat your record lol xx

  • your an awesome rider and for your first show you look great!

  • You looked great!! I fell at my first show too, and all my pony did was bolt, and turn, and I was on the ground :L So don't feel bad! You looked really good apart from the fall =) With a little more experiance, you will be great!

  • @XxHorsexObsessionxX

    Thanks! :D

  • did not look too bad, i have seen plenty of horses spook and refuse at shows. I have a few Green horses i show and I am always falling off at shows, with greens you never know how the horse will act and react.

No one is a true rider till they have fallen at least one time, so falling 3 times, must make you great! haha keep it up you can only get better from here!

  • @sop1toalto2

    Thank you! :D

I wouldn't say Princess is green, but she is a little bit at jumping, which explains all of the refusals. :)

Now I've fallen off 7 times haha. :)

  • @Horsegurl4life123 yeah i have been riding my whole life but did not start taking lessons untill i was 11, before my lessons i fell off at least 1 time a week, once i started taking lessons that went down, since i started taking lessons i have fallen 34 times (i keep track) my trainer always tells new riders that they are not a real rider till they have fallen at least 5 times, then i always laugh and say dose that make me a pro! Its kind of a joke at my barn now! :) its not a bad thig to fall!
